@@theapproachingstorm2133 Kai also was not wrong. Xqc just rushed the game, a normal playthrough most people would of done most side bosses. He speeds through and skips bosses. And if he wanted he could of revisited the game to do those bosses like most people but didn't so Kai's point still stands. Kai even with the little advice of finding weapons he got, has used a balanced build requiring him to actually learn to dodge not just power rush with damage which was what his point was.. As far as i know Kai is one of the few to handicap themselves with balanced weapons vs the hardest bosses in the game with no magic / summons to help, pure learn to dodge and trade.

Probably doesn't know glitches count. But there are speed run playthroughs that have glitches / exploits banned and i think most people assume that is how it is supposed to be. Pretty sure glitched runs are only meta because of the skill needed.

There's no actual excuse for XQC at this subject. Every other big streamer played Elden Ring on launch and the vast majority (at least all the streamers i watched) found about the optional bosses on their own, by exploring and reading.
I wish X would stop being apologetic about everything, trying to always "be right". At this point just admit you didn't really like the game and didn't feel like doing optional bosses and move on. geez.
he likes the game, he's just too dumb and impatient to actually play any game correctly, anything that's not level based and is an open world or relies even a little bit on reading and exploration is 100% guaranteed he skips half the game if he even finishes it, pathetic honestly, i don't see the fun in that as a player or viewer.
Its called just focusing on the main story . Finishing the story mode & finishing the entire game completely different . If you stick to the main missions you can end elden ring in like 3-5 hours especially if its your second playthrough

its because the reason xqc skipped most bosses is because he didn't know about them. Kai wouldn't know about them either but his chat literally tells him everything there is to the game. Including what weapons to use, where they are, and even what bosses to fight next, etc.

I'm not hating that he speed runs games but i also agree that his playthrough was not anything impressive considering others like Kai who intentionaly handicapped themselves via weapons, summons, magic and so on.

elden ring is open world, so you can face most things at any time. XQC pretty much rushed through everything, even sometimes running through areas without exploring or checking on NPCs/quests/ so on so he missed like 90% of the game.
ppl say "elden skip" because he legit skipped more than just bosses. he missed all major storylines, dungeons, powers, weapons, bosses, side bosses, challenges, etc.
