I got a lip lift back in 2006. Oh, do I regret it. I didn't need it. I just followed the doctor's advice. Wish I could reverse it.

Hello Doctor, it's been three and a half months since I had lip lift surgery and I still can't smile like I did before. I am very overwhelmed... is this normal?

Lies. Now when I smile I feel like I’m struggling and my lips bend in . Terrible

Will it make my face look less longer? And nose wider?

I had my lip lifted with Dr. Talei 6 weeks ago and thought my nose looked wider the first few weeks and I loved how it looked it but the inflammation has now gone down and my nose is back to exactly how it was before. He’s excellent! Personally, I wish my nose stayed the new way it looked because I don’t like how my nose looks naturally, but this is good news for people to do like how their nose looks and don’t want it to change.

@@jennyjennyable hi, can i have some of ur time, and ask u about the healing process?

@@kellylee5813 it’s taken awhile for me but that’s because I had more to repair with my lip. I’ve learned that everyone is different when it comes to healing. I think with regular lip lifts, most are healed within weeks.

@@jennyjennyable did u have to be in a liquid diet, and did u have trouble talking? I was also wondering if it shorten the midface?? I’m super set on going to him, and ik its better to ask him, but i feel like talking to his patients is more real.

@@kellylee5813 I didn’t have to be on a liquid diet but it was kind of hard to eat it first because the mouth gets this saran wrapped feeling. Having a hard time eating only lasted a few days for me. My surgery was harder than others because he had to take stuff out of my lip that another doctor put in, so for me, it was hard to talk for a while. From what I understand, most people don’t have to go to this. I’ve seen other people’s lips that he’s done and they look amazing.
I’m still healing. My healing’s taking longer than I expected but, again, my surgery wasn’t like the usual procedure.
What I love about him is that he sees everything. He’s aware of even the smallest detail. He’s really amazing.
