299 is only on the display. If you use gps it can go more than 300+
Obviously, yes, because the 299kph limit on speedometer is default in most of supersport motorcycles. All of 1000cc+ supersports these days could reach over 300kph. Lols
H2 can cross 300 km/h but due this limiter it does not show its actual top speed.

Does anyone know if the H2 tail light will fit the H2R? Thinking about wiring up a brake switch so that you could have brake and tail light on the H2R. Thanks

I wish the power didn't have to be cut as well. If they could have just put on headlights, mirrors, turn signals, mufflers, catalytic converters and rear fenders, it would have been amazing. I don't know why they cut the power as well. Then again, it's also nice not to have to deal with engine issues
Because it doesn't have a straight pipe like the h2r, straight pipe can't be road legal. And the legal pipes on the h2 are ruining the air flow, thus it has a lower HP.
Also it has less aggressive cams for better daily use, aggressive cams like on the h2r make high HP at high revs but horrible to control at low revs.
This means if you have aggressive cams, your bike is hard to control when there's traffic
Simple. Emissions and make it road legal.

This is a rich man’s bike
8000 rpm at top gear for 15 hours is easily above 3600 km. You could do a lot of track days.
Top speed of H2 are 350 to 360.
You need to remove the limiter to do that.
With high tuned h2, GPS reach 360+, but stock is around 330-335, look at speedometer 407 record Brazilian rider, but GPS speed is 361 kmh only .., same like Kenan sofouglu speedometer 400 kmh, GPS verified is 354 kmh, unofficial record
MotoGP bike still faster than these two hyperbike in a mile ...
H2 speedometer maxes out at 299 but it can do 390

Kawasaki H2R ninja can run at 455km/h but that was just how long it takes until it has time to run at 400km/h but that was not its top speed its top speed is 455km/h
All the liter bikes (1000cc bikes) top speed is above 300 km, between 300 to 340... But there meters speed is locked on 299, but if the limiter is removed it will show the real speed... H2 is almost as fastest as other 1000cc bikes like s1000rr, zx10r etc but H2R is a damn fast machine with the speed of 360 to 380 km/h
H2 is much faster than other litre bikes im not sure what you're on about, and FYI the top speed of the h2r is 400kmh not 360 or 380🙄

Aint know 1000 getting beat by a 600cc in a mile drag race... just like how an h2 can never beat an haya busa because busa 1300cc h2 only 998cc...so cc dont determine stop speed but damn sure goin to tell me whose going to win... n i know youll going to be LIKE but the h2r is 1000cc and faster than the busa...n that his true due to the fact that not only cc contribute to speed but also a super charger to an engine can also increase the speed of the machine... higher cc dont necessarily mean u have to win the race or achieve the highest top speed because there are millions of other contributing factor...
