Ear hair is good. It helps prevent dust and debris from entering the ear and grows at. an angle to help with wax migration out of the ear. It only goes deep from trimming. It does not grow deep. Cleaning past the cartilage area into the deeper 2/3 of the ear where it is literally skin over bone can cause trauma to the ear canal.
Nah that’s just what USA doctors would say but in reality it’s the opposite. It’s good to get your ear hair trimmed

For those wondering about cutting the hair:
yes, the hairs have a vital fuction in the ear, so best not to cut it.
They cut it very high up here (I assume on purpose) so it will be back to normal length and function in just 2-3 weeks.
So in this case it has minimal impact on the health of the ear.
It's always nice to watch videos like this, after a good trim and wax removal plus a nice ear massage at the end. Feels heavenly 😂

Hair follicles in the ear canal trap dust and debris, which helps protect the eardrum from rupture. Hair also works with earwax to form a protective barrier that prevents germs, bacteria, and debris from entering the inner ear.
The loop-shaped canals in the inner ear contain fine, hairlike sensors that help with balance. The utricle and saccule, which are located at the base of the canals, each contain a patch of sensory hair cells. These cells can monitor the fluid in the ear and help the brain maintain its sense of balance.
Transmitting sound
The cochlea, a fluid-filled chamber in the inner ear, contains tiny hair cells that vibrate when sound waves hit them. The hair cells amplify sound waves and transduce auditory information to the brainstem. The inner and outer ear cells are an important part in hearing and without them there can be permanent hearing loss.

Really interesting, i have never seen the ears vleaned this way. It looks totally relaxing. Mixed views on trimming the hair around the ear entrance, i personsllly would not have the hair cut. Nonetheless, it eas interesting to watch.

Excellent video and excellent quality. I like how good the camera of her tool looks. I have a lot of hairs, they are not thick though, but over time they trap wax and sometimes it turns into chunks. I would try something like this.

This is the cleanest that I have ever seeing.
Isn’t it a bad thing to not have hair in your ears? The hair catches dirt and other things to keep your ear healthy. Just like eye lashes help keep debris out of your eyes.

Uhhh what does she mean that hair isn’t that important in the ears? It’s really important, because not only does it help to prevent too many outside irritants from getting in, as does the earwax, but tiny hairs in the ear canal assist with hearing and balance. Everyone has hair in their ears, and she’s wrong to say that some people don’t. The length and color may be different, making it seem like more or a lot less in some. But everyone has hair in their ears.
Also, that earwax isn’t the same that’s been in your ears for 28 years. You do realize that ears are self-cleaning? The movement of the jaw and skin movement allow the wax to come out, and it’s replaced with new wax.
Yeah, the Japanese videos I've seen, they do seem to be obsessed with trimming the hair. Everything has a function, even earwax. It's only a problem if it's impacted and can't come out.

It would be better to put a piece of cotton with Vaseline in the ear before you cut the little hairs. I don’t understand why you are cutting the hair, but cotton would keep it from falling further into the ear.

Never let a non-medical professional do this to your ears. How does he know that these tools are properly sterilized? Also, NEVER let anybody trim your ear hair, unless they are an M.D. We have ear hair for a reason. Ear hair prevents dirt, dust and other things from entering your ears.

I don't understand why people are doing this. The hair is in our ear for a reason, and so is wax. To protect the ear drum. I understand the reason for removing a large amount of wax, but this idea of having the inside of your ear cleaned to this extent, is a bad idea.
Men tend to grow more ear hair than women, and she was trimming "extra" hairs deep in the canal, which can cause swimmer's ear.
To much wax in the ears can cause you to be unable to hear good, and every night new wax will be made so it isnt bad at al to empty them
You should Google ear picking in Asia. Ear picking has been around since the Ming dynasty and was originally performed by itinerant barbers. Asians have a dry, flaky ear wax as opposed to the tougher wet ear wax found in people of European and African descent. She was rubbing inside the ear way too much. Ears get get irritated very easily. They don't have to be 100% clear of wax. She wouldn't have had to do that if she didn't clip the hair, which you're not supposed to do down in there anyway.
