This was my childhood treat whenever we were on Chelten Ave. I loved the chicken kabob so much. Had no idea he was still there. ❤
Right across the street from the library, that man been at Chelten Ave and Green Street since the 1990's. And that man is a street food staple in Germantown. Hollow, Brickyard, Chew Ave, Summerville, Haines Street, Pulaski Town, Nice Town anyone from that area knows about that stand.

Just picked up the triple threat, chicken, beef, shrimp kababs on rice as recommended by JL. I’m going there often. Around the block from me. The Kabab Man knows how to grill. 10 out of 10 on this one. Today there was a line, even in the rain. But Kabab Man kept it moving. JL got a nose for good food.

I grew@5 blocks up on Walnut Lane, and used to walk the "Ave" Alot in the 80s/90s..I MISS Sound Of Germantown where we'd get the Latest Jams from without having to travel Downtown...Copped Illmatic/Doggystyle/Ready2Die/D.O.C/KoolGRap and countless other tapes from there...$6.99-8.99 for cassette..😂🔥 🔥
