Lateral entry is there in almost every engineering colleges, specifically government engineering colleges. If you are a diploma engineering student or BSC student, then you can join btech through lateral entry. You will start your btech from 2nd year.

Yes no problem if you have got good percentile and rank in #Jeemains you can get a seat in government college, even if you have passes plus 2 from other state.

Yes the students who get good marks in jee mains are eligible to sit in JEE advanced for admission in different institutes of national importance like indian institute of technology (IITs) etc. For normal colleges jee advanced may not be required.

#OJEE score is not yet out I guess. But with this percentile in JeeMains, to get a seat in government college may be tough. He can go for biotechnology, pharmacy courses etc which have a lot of scope these days.

Well first jeemains counseling will be done after jeeadvanced results are out and then only OJEE counseling will be done. For Electronics and electrical engineering u can opt for vssut burla, cet Bhubaneswar and also try for IIIT Bhubaneswar and SUIIT. BUT SUIIT AND IIIT have electronics and communication engineering.
