Hi, Fatah. Thanks for the positive feedback. I try my best to help demonstrate products for the community by incorporating a range of facial hair styles here and there. I hope this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community. I really appreciate it! All the best!
Hi, Audrius A. Awesome to hear! I'm glad WAHL has been working well for you over the years. Thanks so much for watching and supporting the channel. Great to have you in the GroomReviews community! All the best!
I recently suffered a catastrophic knee injury and can no longer stand for the next few months to shave with my 1$ bick. Invested in an electric trimmer in the meanwhile - this video was helpful, thanks.
I just bought the Wahl. There were so many options, but this review was what sold it. Great review, great beard detail, and very high quality production. I appreciate the time it must have taken, and I thank you for your effort.
Hi, Mr. Everybody. You are most welcome! I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you and gave you some guidance with your decision. Thanks so much for watching and your support of the channel. I appreciate having you as a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Thanks for the review and the information. I'm the mom of a 17 year old who has been growing a full beard since he was 15. Newly divorced, and I got the kid, his dad got the Wahl that he had been using. No idea what to get him and you've been a big help.
Hi, Michelle. You are most welcome! Thank you for the positive feedback. I'm happy to hear that this video was helpful to you. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community. All the best!

Good review and demonstration, too many guys simply promote a product by opening the box and talking about the product. I now have a beard but for over 25 years I shaved exclusively with a straight razor. Every bit of sculpting you did with the Wahl I can easily do with my straight so I am looking for something to keep my beard neat. Again, nice review, well done!

Hi, Stary Dziadzio. Thank you so much for the positive feedback and support of the channel! I greatly appreciate it. Thank you for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
you got yourself a new sub , thanks for an amazing review , just bought this thru best buy at a slight discount , needed a trimmer for bear line ups and neck line ups .
I was interested in the "Wahl Lithium Ion Plus Trimmer - Model 9818" but stumbled upon your "Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000" review. I was wondering from a guy that has used them both which of the two would you recommend over the other. You and I have a very similar beard so I am positive which ever you recommend would be best for me as well. You have great reviews and thanks ahead for the feedback.
Hi, New2Trading101. Thank you for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it. I had responded to your earlier question regarding this and will post that response here as well. Both the Wahl 9818 Lithium Ion Plus and Multigroom 7000 are very comparable. As you took a look at my two video reviews for these products, you could see that they match up closely and have similar attachments. Both are great products and I recommend both. That said, each of us has our own personal preferences that will sway us one way or the other. Personally, I am slightly swayed by the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000. I think the millimeter labeling and the color coding of the guards is less confusing than the fraction labeling on the all black Wahl guards. The Multigroom 7000 also includes eyebrow and body guards, and the guards are all reinforced to prevent bending or breaking. Additionally, I like the foil shaver of the Multigroom 7000 over the detail shaver of the Wahl 9818. I have always been fond of this type of foil shaver since my days with the Multigroom 5100, and this foil shaver is no different. Furthermore, the Multigroom 7000 includes a 32mm metal trimmer attachment in addition to a T-Blade metal trimmer attachment, while the Wahl 9818 only includes the T-blade. That said, I think the Wahl 9818 has a nice handle length as compared to the long length of the Multigroom 7000, which could be an issue for those not used to the size. Overall, I think the Wahl 9818 wins on the hair front, as far as being able to create those fades and clean haircuts. It comes with more hair guard attachments in closer increments than the Multigroom 7000 and is the brand preferred by barbers. For beard trimming, however, I give the edge to the Multigroom 7000. Thanks for watching!
Just bought the later model, essentially the same thing of course, so I'm looking for tips using it, so thanks for this review and usage vid, very helpful ;)

Good morning! Lookin' for a new shaver to replace my old cheaper Wahl I got from Ross for like 20 bucks, and this one seems to use the EXACT same heads and the exact same mechanism for attaching and detaching them. I've been looking at the ones in the video for a few minutes now and I'm willing to bet they are indeed the same. I'm sure the motor and quality of the actual unit is better (I hope), but the heads seem to be the same. I found the heads to be nice, but after a short fall the teeth tend to snap off. I didn't expect them to be durable, per se, but I was disappointed that it left me without my T-head. The detail head also is iffy to me. The mechanism for attaching the heads also got super loose to the point where I have to physically hold the heads on with my index finger while shaving. Don't get me wrong, I loved it while it lasted, but I don't think the extra attachments are worth an extra $40. I'm gonna try the Norelco MG7750 once I can find it in stock somewhere.

I am a master barber for 28 years....i can confirm these clippers are the best kept secret....i use them in a barbershop! they are worth the price of admission!
Hi, Eric Matthews. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the GroomReviews community! I'm glad the Wahl Lithium Ion Plus has been working out for you. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

Hey, Bray Zap. Thanks so much for the support! I really do appreciate it. Thanks for watching and being a positive influence on the GroomReviews community! Happy to have you here. All the best!
Nice video with good info. Have you tried the newer Wahl Edge Pro yet to see how it compares to these others? I'd be interested to know the comparison especially since the Edge Pro is corded instead of battery powered. I tend to use the corded Wahl hair clippers as they have more power equaling smoother cutting, less pulling of hairs and as much run time as we need.
Hi, Matt D. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I greatly appreciate it. Thank you for suggesting the Wahl Edge Pro. I have not had a chance to use this product, yet, but will definitely keep it in mind for a possible review on a future video. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, Tokyo Mamba. You are most welcome! I'm happy to hear this video was helpful to you. Thank you, again, for the positive feedback. I truly appreciate it. Thanks for supporting the channel and for being a positive influence on the community! All the best!
Super sharp beard man. I just ordered these clippers. Just started going back to a barber because I’m gonna leave the “balding dude with long hair” look to 80s Hollywood villains. I want to start doing all my own hair and beard work and this Wahl looks perfect. Thanks for the video
Hi, p904. You are most welcome! Thanks so much for the positive feedback and support of the channel. I greatly appreciate it! I hope this trimmer works to your liking. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!

Hi, Lyle. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. It means a great deal to receive positive feedback and know that these videos are helpful. Thanks for being part of the GroomReviews community!
Nice vid. You should review the Philips MG7750/49 and do a comparison considering they are at the same price point. I'm curious to see if the Philips can compete with regards to detailing.
Hi, Eliene Tavares. Welcome to the channel. I appreciate Bruno's support and like of this video, as well as yours. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and check it out. Thanks for watching! All the best!
Are you supposed to have the guard flat on your face, or use it at an angle? I'm new to trimming my beard, and I'm worried that if I angle it, it might take off more than I want.
Hi, Sonof2tards. For those new to trimming, like yourself, I recommend taking the trim slowly the first time to feel out the attachments and find your own personal preference with how to maneuver the device. Now, trimming upward or downward is all based on personal preference, but from my experience, especially when my beard has been longer, trimming downward helps control the amount of hair removed so i don't take off more than I'm happy with. That said, I would first comb out your beard downward, then use the hair clipping comb attachment on its highest setting. Very lightly start moving in with downward strokes of the hair clipping comb until you hear hair being cut. If your beard is thick, trying to press the attachment against your skin and then moving it downward will most likely cut off more than you want. So, if your beard is thick, keep a distance off from the face until you can see how the attachment is working for you and if your getting the result you want. If not, you adjust from there, pushing closer in toward the face to where the device is cutting off amounts you're good with. If you find you can push all the way against your skin with the guard and hair doesn't reach the trimmer, then you can adjust the hair comb setting to a lower level and continue the same process. Eventually, you will find the attachment and position of cutting with this attachment that works best for you. To me, starting at the maximum settings and slowly adjusting is always the safest way to approach. Beards take time and you don't want to kill it in one shot. Stay as far off as the device will allow, then work your way in. Good Luck! Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
Hi, Lyle. I have not had a chance yet to review the Wahl 9854-600. I will definitely keep it in mind for a possible review on a future video. Thanks for watching!

Hi, Stephen. Unfortunately, I have only tested out the Lithium Ion Plus and have not had a chance to test out the Lithium Ion for comparison. I will, however, keep this Wahl model trimmer in mind for a possible future video. Thanks for watching!
Hi. I personally did not have any issues with the #2: 1/4" beard guard pulling hair. If you are having this issue, make sure you check that the beard guard teeth are straight. If they look bent to one side or the other a bit is where you could have alignment issues that could cause pulling. If the guard looks fine, it may be that the blades are pulling the hair, in which case you should apply a few drops of oil to the blades and test again. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! Good Luck!
GroomReviews I have this issue only when i trimming my beard against the hair (up). I never used this guard down. That's why I ask. I will try. I have Blitz 2 which is with the same blades. Thanks buddy!

Hi, R99pinball. Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the review! According to Wahl, you should not attempt to remove the battery. Lithium-Ion batteries can explode, catch fire, and/or cause burns if disassembled, damaged, or exposed to water or high temperatures. Hope this helps. I appreciate you being part of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Hi, Maurizio. Thank you for your suggestion of the Wahl Aqua Blade. I will keep this trimmer in mind for a possible review on a future video. Thanks for watching and being part of the GroomReviews community. All the best!

Brio beardscape or this sir??This looks waaay better to be honest...Alot of folk complained about the brio not being close enough and you just paying for the LCD screen??any thoughts?Cheers & keep up the hyper consciousness gargantua work...:)
Hi, Kieran. If you haven't already, you can check out my review of the Brio Beardscape here: czcams.com/video/4lruV-XEpBo/video.html . For a shorter beard, such as mine, I personally do not suggest this device. The titanium rake was very sharp and actually cut my neck in the video. It has a nice display with a lot of features, but the device is too bulky for the precision I desire. I recommend this beard trimmer for those with longer beards, looking to maintain and groom at a healthy length. For a beard such as mine, I recommend the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 seen here: czcams.com/video/eFn0Si1Bmyc/video.html . Both the Wahl 9818 Lithium Ion Plus and Multigroom 7000 are very comparable. If you take a look at my video reviews for these products, you will see that they match up closely and have similar attachments. Both are great products and I recommend both. @@GroomReviews....Your reply....Take a bow sir. Many many thanks for your ooooooooooh so thoughtful comment full of insight..Your very kind to take the time out to do so....Best of luck with your channel...I will indeed be spreading the word of your name...Kieran
Hi, Kieran. Thank you so much for your kind and generous words! I'm glad I could be of help! My goal is to provide a genuine, organic response to every individual with a legitimate question or comment, just as I would hope someone would respond to me. When I say in my videos that this channel is about getting you Comfortable, Confident and Clean in grooming, that's truly my goal. I fully admit, I don't know everything, but I always try my best to provide a helpful response and lead people down the right path. I hope to build a community on this channel that comes together and shares their true experiences, so we can all learn and grow together. To that point, I would be grateful if you might help me with a little survey I'm taking. I plan to create my next video fairly soon and as it is No-Shave November, I'm reaching out to the community for suggestions. I cannot properly review a grooming device without touching my beard, and that is a no-no. So, is there a topic of interest or question you have, which wouldn't entail me trimming my beard, that would be helpful to you if answered in a video review? Thanks in advance!
Hi, Steve. Can you give the full name and manufacturer of the product you are referring to? Also, is this a recent purchase or a product you've had for a while. Depending on the manufacturer, if it is within the warranty period they should replace/repair any defective issues. Let me know. Thanks!
Hi, Steve. This Wahl model carries a 5-yr warranty here in the US if the product fails to operate properly within that time period from date of purchase. As you purchased in May, you would fall within that warranty period for a repair or replacement. However, this warranty is showing valid in the USA only. You would most likely need to check with the store you purchased from for their return policy and/or search for the official Wahl website that you have for India and find out their warranty terms. Besides Wahlusa.com, I'm unable to find an offical Wahl international site from my end. Good luck.
This man made himself a chin strap just for the video. Now that's commitment.

Which s more powerful
Super sharp beard man. I just ordered these clippers. Just started going back to a barber because I’m gonna leave the “balding dude with long hair” look to 80s Hollywood villains. I want to start doing all my own hair and beard work and this Wahl looks perfect. Thanks for the video

Nice vid. You should review the Philips MG7750/49 and do a comparison considering they are at the same price point. I'm curious to see if the Philips can compete with regards to detailing.
Thank you. I appreciate the suggestion and will keep in mind for consideration on a future video. Thanks for watching!

Have you done a review on the Wahl 9854-600 which looks to be the 3266 here in Canada

Whats your opinion on how this trimmer is compared to the Lithium Ion™ All-in-One Rechargeable Trimmer / Grooming Kit
?
Hi, Stephen. Unfortunately, I have only tested out the Lithium Ion Plus and have not had a chance to test out the Lithium Ion for comparison. I will, however, keep this Wahl model trimmer in mind for a possible future video. Thanks for watching!
Is #2: 1/4'' beard guard does not pull hair? Because when you use it against the beard, it pulls a lot...

How does this compare with the multigroom 7000?
Hi, nguont.
Please check out my recent review of the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 here: czcams.com/video/eFn0Si1Bmyc/video.html.
Both the Wahl 9818 Lithium Ion Plus and Multigroom 7000 are very comparable. If you take a look at my video reviews for these products, you will see that they match up closely and have similar attachments. Both are great products and I recommend both.
Hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
This looks great. Too bad you can't take it on a plane. Unless we can remove the battery

Nice 👍🏻
Thanks, Brooklynapoli. Much appreciated! Thanks for watching!

Model 6800
Hi, Steve. Can you give the full name and manufacturer of the product you are referring to? Also, is this a recent purchase or a product you've had for a while. Depending on the manufacturer, if it is within the warranty period they should replace/repair any defective issues. Let me know. Thanks!
It's model is 9888-600 & I purchased it this may
And im in India now, not in US
Good luck.
