Wow - A personalized shopping card that will bombard me with advertisements based on what I recently purchased!

I would rather use my brain for this. The man who stocked the milk forgot to pull the old milk up, in front of the newest milk. That's using your brain.

@Jayme Stephens - Unless you pay with cash each time you shop, stores already know all of this information about you and your shopping habits.

But this will also affect the stores negatively as customers maybe won't wander around anymore and see items they might buy by coincidence. Nevertheless, this looks very cool but is kind of creepy at the same time.

You are so right! It is not a secret any more! These comments prove there are a lot of us wise to it! Receive Jesus Christ and the baptism of the Holy Ghost to escape before all this and make the rapture.
Wow!!!! Millions disappear! Gone!!! Come Lord Jesus come! Only give us time to get in this final harvest
God has given His bride the church of Jesus Christ yes, borrowed time to finish the soul winning.

I love how people think that this type of technology is another way for Big Brother to spy on you. If you have a cell phone, bank card, credit card, a car with a GPS system, and security cameras, well guess what, Big Brother can spy on you with these items also. I love this technology and would make life easier and less stressful. I am all for RFID and think that having a chip in my arm with my DL, credit cards, SS number and passport would be great so I don't have to worry about losing my wallet or keeping up with all my cards. All I have to do is scan my arm, select which card to use and be done. All the information on my chip would be encrypted.

one question... if the purchase involves R18 things like alcohol and cigarettes, how would you know that the person whose purchasing is 18 years or older? someone under age could use their parent's or older sibling's card to buy these items, how would you prevent that? just a little curious :)

    • @fatoufall9490

exactly, they make fricking science out out buying milk, idiots. having all info about you though
I would be annoyed at automated unnecessary questions on screen. sometimes one wants to grab what they want, then pay to a human, who they can ask specific question, which they would not be able to process through that shitty screen, and speed out of shop. Unfortunately there are people who live in shops...
still not trying for cure for cancer though, rather introducing foods and stuff that cause it.

Both of you realize this is from 2012, right? Now, the Amazon convenience store is nothing like this. Their methods are WAY simpler and less bloated than this. You scan your phone when you enter, grab the things you want, and leave. The technology of this video will never be used in the future. The tech Amazon is using now is already really robust.
