You can unlock scroll slot by clocking yellow lock and spending engraved stones as you have started doing in 6:32. Other slots open when you reach certain CC level and have unlocked previous slot. after unlocking scroll slot you can use all scrolls have in that slot you in addition of getting those small bonusses
