I just love my Joy, bought it when I was feeling down as I'd had to stop a lot of my crafts due to arthritis. Now at 79 I'm learning and enjoying crafting again. A big thank you to you guys for all the fab tutorials 😊

@@larryward3394 it's the best thing I've bought in a long time. I have made cards for many years and used to sell them in the little shop I had. I ought Joy as I have arthritis, I just wish it was available then. From the first day I had it I was making cards to the standard I've aways been proud of. You will love it don't hesitate go for it. I would use this to make labels for my daughter business. Making Lipgloss labels to put on her tubes or whatever
my friend has a successful lash and lipgloss buisness, she uses circut in order to add her labels on the products. its an amazing way to make your buisness look professional. you should really consider buying it!

I would make t-shirts, designs for wooden blocks to put in tier trays, gift tags, wooden signs. I would love this so convenient taking it along with you! I have so many ideas.

I am loving my little Joy! I love being able to carry it around the house to use in whatever room I need. I'd never do that with my Maker or Explore. I also love that it could be taken to craft shows for those who do them. Instant personalization. I have been using mine to make pantry labels while doing my "stay at home" thing. Making some cards with it and monogramming things. Who doesn't love a good monogram?! I hope to do some t-shirts for it too. Love how your little shirt came out. Hugs, Brenda

It would be perfect to take to craft shows to do custom orders on the spot. I also love the compact size to take when doing crafts with friends or when taking classes. There are a multitude of ways that this would come in handy!
Yes! I recently took the machine over to a friend's house to let her try it out. It was really easy to work with on the go!
I have chronic pain and am often stuck in bed. I craft in bed to keep my mind busy. I have the air 2, and it’s so large and heavy, that I seldom use it. This would be perfect for my little signs and personalization! And, I have a 12 year old son. I guarantee he would love some personalized shirts. So fun!
That is the cutest little machine. I think it would be a great tool for doing custom orders right then and there, like having personalized pieces at craft stores. I imagine you could increase sales because it's a quick application and the machine is not very expensive.
Definitely! That would be a perfect application for it. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing this at craft fairs.
I could see the use for it. As much as I love spending money on tech and sometimes regret my purchases, I don't see this as a practical purchase for me. But definitely some functionality :)
I think the most flexibility would probably be with the Explore Air 2 or the Maker, but the Cricut Joy is really fun! Thanks for watching!
I would use it for everything i love to craft its so relaxing to me. I like tht its a travel size so i could take it any where i needed to.

I'm a fashion designer. I'm considering to purchase Cricut Joy. I would use it for detail graphics in my garment designs to skip silk screening. Great to use for branding my designs.
That's a great way to use it! You could also use it for Infusible Ink if you're using fabric with a high polyester count. It's a great way to customize clothing.

I LOVE this!!! Thanks for showing how this aspect of the Joy works. I agree with both you and Lacee, perfect for craft fairs to personalize something for someone, in a quick way! I know Ashley you know, I really want this model (vs the more advanced Cricut's), for personalized (family) projects and home decor. Would love to see you make something like that (Please lol). The shirt is adorable.

My sister and niece have the larger cricuts and I have no interest in getting one of those as it is just too confusing. I saw a lady that puts decals on her decorated painted rocks and just purchased the cricut joy to do just that. It seems simple enough for me to understand which is just my speed. Enjoyed your tutorial and maybe I'll branch out from decals, lol!
This one is just the right size to still stay fun! You should try the cards and making shirts, it's really great!

Instead of using metal word dies, I would use this machine to cut out my own pieces. I have hundreds of fonts, and instead of being stuck with the same or similar styles of words such as "love", "hugs", " thanks", "smile", etc., I can use any of my fonts to customize my cards. Also, I can cut multiple words and stack them to give the card dimension, instead of cycling the word dies through my die cutting machine multiple times. I want to get this one (and I may), but since Cricut has a multitude of colors for their big cutting machines, I have a feeling they may come out with more colors for this little one. Plus, since my desk is always full of art stuff, this is a great size for what it is I want to do.
I think it's perfect for all the small projects without taking up space. It works best with cardstock, vinyl, iron-on vinyl, and similar materials. The Maker is usually my recommendation if you want to work with metal. I love the Joy for the space saving, too!

It would be nice to cut out fused fabric with heat and bond for embroidery applique. If this tiny machine could do that, it would be so convenient not taking out the big Scan n Cut for this purpose. Applique parts are small anyways. There is no need larger machine.
I don't have the heating mat that u mentioned in your video, is there another way that u could suggest since I don't have the mat? And i really like the video

Thanks for watching! I've not tried that yet, but you could use the stencil vinyl to create a template. That would be an awesome way to make it more fun to apply!

I agree! If you want to make quick DIYs, the Joy is awesome! I use it for all my quick projects, such as shirts, mugs, decor, and cards.
Can you make party favors out this? Or any personalized decorations with the cricut joy?
You could make some table scatter, some cute designs to sit on straws, table decor, and awesome signs! It's more compact, so it works best for smaller projects, but you could definitely use it for that.

My issue is, I don't use my Joy for selling crafts, but have run out of relatives/friends/self to make things for, I just don't know what else to do with it? Hi! The Joy can cut longer pieces, so if you created designs that were in layers, it could work. I can give you some ideas for designs that would be easier for the Joy on adult shirts if you'd like to message me on Facebook. I have a community called Dollar Tree, DIYs and Decor there. :-)
