    Thank you for sharing. After building & testing, here is some info for you: Frequency response is not quite flat. Starting with bass & treble both at mid point: Mids down +-2v Rms, adjusting bass & treble pots can bring response closer, but midrange 1-5khz always down at least 1vRms. Also slight distortion on mid - high frequencies (from about 1khz up). Running +-38v, True Power Output = 100W RMS into 4ohm @ 1khz before clipping.

      Nice info. Those youtube channels not testing out the amplifier real power with Power resistor connected, instaed of the speaker.
      Distortion from 1Khz is not that good, isnt it?
      Considering that you used +38V and -38V and the output was 100watt on 4ohm load, you got 20Volt on output which means that you had 26% efficiency which is not that good too.
      I have built a way different amplifier, its a Quasi class AB amplifier, which is 2 NPN output transistor 2SC2235 (TO220 Package) on +45V 0 It can put out 35Watts on 8.1ohm load 16.9Volts. Amplifier efficiency is 37.5%. Frequency response is not quite flat, due the low frequencies until about 50Hz is -1Volt from the 16.9 Output. Otherwise very negotiable distortion. Its full diy amplifier, on prefboard and no ic used. Amplifier is tested on power resistor, 8.1ohm was a cold state of the resistor, on 21Celsius resistor temperature.
      Mine and your project was cool too.
      Have you did it all in air soldering, or in prefboard, or you ordered a dedicated circuitboard from circuitboard company?
      I did it on prefboard.

    great project, bigger sound, assemble inside a carcass of a quasar 1150 that i took in the old iron, just took advantage of the transformer, just needed to be stereo, or do another one like that and put the two together inside the same cabinet. congratulations.

    Tiene la polaridad al revés ya que los transistores A son negativos (-) y los C son positivos (+)

    (12:30) Dear in the video you connect 1uf Capacitor to pin3 ( but not clear that is pin3) but down you wrote pin5. Please clearify the pin because I count the pins from both sides but it's not pin number 5. My amplifier is working perfect. The only problem is over heating. My amplifier is heating so much and so fast.

      Pin 3 is correct.
      It works well and you do it right!
      The problem of overheating:
      1 / You supply (30v 0v 30v) AC the highest for this circuit
      2 / You increase the heating dissipation big because this circuit works very hot!

      It works hard so it gets very hot, please increase the size of the heatsink

    do you have any porjects for a unit of about 150+50 the amp unit went bad on one of my Pioneer monitors and im planing on remplacing the original amps with some chines class D off from ebay, but i saw your video and I like it better looks like a more solid amp. also it can be fixable on the long run Vs the chines amps.
