Judy's voice is heaven!!!! Pocahontas was the first movie that I ever saw in the Theaters. Still one of my favorite Disney movies. When I saw Judy in Fun Home back in 2015, it truly was a full circle moment to experience LIVE and meet the voice of your childhood before your eyes. Doing a master class with her later this week. So nervous and excited to sing for this performer. She's also super OVERDUE for a Tony win!!!

Wonderful to watch Judy in this video. FYI, I was the Tuptim that she was talking about who left the show for 5 months when they hired Judy for her first job. Judy's career took off after that. So happy for her. Warm Wishes for you Judy, Patricia Welch.

Wonderful show, and in my home state, too! Wish I'd known about it at the time, so I might have seen it live. Judy's voice is still terrific, and she seems like a swell person, too! This one's a keeper...

I love Judy Kuhn--her voice has such a distinct wider vibrato--it sparkles and she controls it so beautifully. I so wish that I could have seen her in Les Misérables but by March 1988 she had already left. I have watched her 1987 Tony performances so often. From those two performances, I never would have had the slightest idea what she went through and how unnerving as to the craziness of that Tony evening. I have a friend who saw her in Metropolis in London and said she was so impressive. What a treat to hear her sing "Ice Cream"! Never knew about the Broadway Fiddler revival--lovely rendition.
