First Ride on My Yamaha FZ07 !!!

This thing is insane, SO MUCH POWER !!! Way more power than my previous bike (2013 Kawasaki Ninja 650). I thought I wanted an FZ09, but now Im FZ07 all the way! It wants to rip the handle bars out of my hands !!!

I've had my fz07 and it's just amazing. Sound, reliability, power, comfort, MPG(avg 4 me 55). This is a forever bike. But I know people want power and if you're looking for that go for the big brother fz09 I've ridden 600 and liter bikes and the fz09 MADE ME SHIT MY PANTS.....

Just got an MT-07 a month back and from a guy who has primarily ridden supermoto's the power delivery and especially the engine braking is very similar to the big singles. For a 689 parallel twin they make some wicked power and torque. Couldn't be happier.

I've been following you since u started... even stock, it's a torque monster, perfect for those utica streets lol. Its light, very comfortable, and it looks amazing. I think it looks alot better then the fz09 from that generation. I'm getting another bike too, but the fz07 is just a keeper, its too much fun to get rid of it. Insurance cheap too... You have great content... keep it up and enjoy the bike !!

4:20 I'm no wheelie expert but I did just lift the front wheel a half an inch lol. I love my FZ-07 you'll be pulling up 2nd gear wheelies wherever you go in no time. 3rd gear clutch ups is where its at though.

Probably comparing the two because they’re both up right position bikes, Grom is just a small displacement naked bike. So it’s a fair comparison. So if you HAVE owned a grom or z125 and want to upgrade to a larger displacement while keeping the same characteristics, this would be the route to go or the larger Kawi Z’s.

M4 exhaust... with quiet insert? My bike came used with an M4 Full system and it was way too loud, my ears were ringing at 3k rpm. Stuck the quiet baffle in and it sounds like a dream.

@@Drive315 ECU flash from Superbike Unlimited fixed my Fz07 engine braking issue. I was surprised to hear that you already had a flash tune but I do remember letting the company know to "remove as much engine braking as they can" bc stock is so so terrible.

Thanks for watching and subscribe. The bike can handle it no problem, but there is alot of wind thats gonna hit you at those speeds because its a naked style bike. I think for commuting the ninja 650 is a better bike, but obviously the fz07 is alot more fun (and powerful)

An aftermarket windscreen is a must. I have the tallest one I could find then put an extender on top. 85 is not a problem.

Its great except that alot of wind will hit you on both the 07 and 09… I prefer the 07 because it has very nice low end power for the street and sounds amazing, the 09 is a bit harsher for the street motor wise but does have the extra kick for acelleration at high speeds

Its all about the character of the engine, the fz07 has a huge powerband at low rpms... and the sound it makes is the best in my opinion of the 3

eu tbm quero a mt 09 ,. pois tenho a mt 07 ha 1 ano, e , vicia muito , logo se quer mais , mas o ideal era ter as duas ,.. pois sao diferentes ,..pra um uso meramente urbano eu ate creio que a 07 seja melhor em certos aspetos e ja com potencia de sobra ,..a mt 07 , parece uma moto mexida de motor ,.. alterada ,.. é esse o sentimento que nos faz sentir nas 1- vezes que andamos ,.. poucas motos com potencia identica tem esta resposta , tao forte e vigorosa e elastica ,..em numeros (74cv) podem no supriender muito, teoricamente falando , no entanto e andando com uma mt 07 ,.. a realidade é outra ,..logico que ha motos melhores e bem mais p+otentes ,.. mas o carater desta moto ,..a facilidade ,..e a diversao a fazem ser bem especial,..claro , que quem tem mt 07 ,.. vai querer um dia subir ,..pra 09 ,..e a model. 2021 mt 09 ,.. esta muito boa e refinada ! mas ,..por enquanto,.. a 07 vai divertindo o suficiente de uma forma justa e ate enconomica ,..e até a sua simplicidade ,.. é na verdade mais um trunfo ,..por parte da marca , tornando a moto mais pura ,.. e mais fiavel,..e prazerosa de pilotar !
