- Fleetwood is a coastal town in the Borough of Wyre in Lancashire, England, at the northwest corner of the Fylde. It had a population of 25,939 at the 2011 census.
Fleetwood acquired its modern character in the 1830s, when the principal landowner Peter Hesketh-Fleetwood, High Sheriff and MP, conceived an ambitious plan to re-develop the town to make it a busy seaport and railway spur. He commissioned the Victorian architect Decimus Burton to design a number of substantial civic buildings, including two lighthouses. Hesketh-Fleetwood's transport terminus schemes failed to materialise. The town expanded greatly in the first half of the 20th century with the growth of the fishing industry, and passenger ferries to the Isle of Man, to become a deep-sea fishing port.
The decline of the fishing industry began in the 1960s, hastened by the Cod Wars with Iceland, though fish processing is still a major economic activity in Fleetwood. The town's most significant employer today is Lofthouse of Fleetwood, manufacturer of the lozenge Fisherman's Friend which is exported around the world.

Honestly it was such a surreal situation; we were almost speechless: was very poor!
The only cheats are the machines were most money slides to the side to drop into the owners pocket new subscription

Ah dont worry about him. His pushers might be fine but this guy has a history of running a horrible business and taking advantage of loyal customers in various ways. Ive been to Harbour Lights once and it was your typical low budget low care sort of job. He shouldn't have accused you of that, and even if you had been doing that it would be totally fair since the coins had fallen into the profit tray. Ive boycotted them and tend to encourage others to do the same.
Interesting to hear you've had a similar problem with the same guy! We don't mind a run down/old fashioned arcade, it feels more nostalgic but regardless of his care for his business he shouldn't have reacted in the way he did, especially as it's a false accusation. Definitely boycotted which is a shame as Fleetwood seems like a nice place!:)

That is absolutely shocking for them to accuse you of stuff like that especially when he obviously doesnât have cctv of you cheating đ€š what an absolute đ end he is. Well, I know not to go there with such aggressive staff working there đ€·đŒââïž
It's a shame as it's the only one in Fleetwood but I think it's unlikely we will return - was no need for it especially as it's a false accusation!:(
@@TuppenceBros Iâm really sorry that happened to you, may I suggest another location? Thatâs if you havenât already heard of it? Itâs in wales called pensarn, itâs up by the motorway right at the back past tir prinz fair, itâs a lovely small location and everyone is ever so friendly and you would get a lovely cup of tea with a nice bright smile đ

I live in Fleetwood and this arcade has just recently changed hands.
We knew it closed, is it going to re-open as another arcade? :)
@@TuppenceBros from what I heard Haven Holidays now own it and they are refurbishing into an all brand new arcade, but mostly ticket machines so Iâm told.
I got an update for you, apparently it reopens this coming Friday so I was told this morning, letâs hope itâs good news, I used to quite like that arcade myself.

How can anyone cheat in the arcades as the machines are set up in favour of the owners? Shame on that Mister (or should that be Miser?)
It was strange and owners make most of their Money on the slot machines anyway so he was definitely an odd Mister đ

I hate arcades like this. There's been a few places I have been to similar to this where they only want to make money and dislike when they see people winning things out of their machines.
We have had some good experiences with owners who have chatted with us about there arcades, it is a shame that others are like this in the video!
Definitely no cheating on your behalf .only one cheating was the guy working there cheating you out of your wins .Thatâs definitely arcade to give miss in the future .well done on your wins though .đđ»đ
Yes we tried telling him that but didn't get far: apparently they have closed down so definitely won't be going back!
You will be glad to know that the Harbour lights Amusements is now closed down. He always was a miserable git and tried his best to live just inside the gaming law. Good riddance
Can't believe the amount of comments that say this guy was a bit of a fruit loop. It's a shame to see any arcade close but maybe this one was for the best!
