Richard Marx wrote this, but JC wrote 4 songs on their 2nd album and 4 songs on their 3rd album and 2 songs on their Christmas album. During and after NSYNC, he became a songwriter for other artists. Watch and listen to the European performances before they debuted in the US, JC had more solos and literally carried the band. JT didn't have solos on every song like he did later. They would not have made it without JC.
Team JC for life. It’s almost Christmas time. Their version of O Holy Night from their 2000 Christmas Special is a must watch.

To me JC has always had the best (incredible) voice of all 5 guys. Although I will say that all of them have amazing voices! Justin put on such a show that I think that pulled more eyes to him…plus the focus of him being the heartthrob. JC has always had that amazing voice and he let it speak for itself. I will throw in there that folks need to make sure they don’t sleep on Chris and Joey’s voices too…truly there is no other group like *NSYNC.

No, his momager had a BIG part in making sure the cameras always focused on him! Even if he wasn’t singing, they always hyper focused on him instead of a crowd shot or the other guys singing crucial parts most of the time.
Joey had the REAL charisma. Justin’s was manufactured w/ a huge team of Groomers to help.

When I got married my husband picked our first dance song. He said he picked an NSync song and I was like what?? I thought we don’t listen to NSync, but he had heard it and really liked it. It turns out it was a perfect song for us. 22 years later ❤
I always thought that JC from NSYNC and Brian from backstreet boys were the best vocals and just got over shadowed by the money making of teen girls screaming over the blond ones

Hardcore BSB fans have never ever denied that Brian has the voice of an angel. To us fans who know have never denied that he carries the group vocally on the majority of their biggest hits. However with that said, they all contribute and have strengths vocally that have been the focus. As far as nsync I’ve always always always thought and said that JC always carried them vocally. I’ve never swooned over Justin and never understood why so many fans did, vocally he has a lot of strengths but I was talking about fans who weren’t paying attention to his vocal abilities.
I think Brian and Nick were always back and forth with fans.

To me, Chris, Lance and Joey are not just «backup singers ». Ok, true, they only have 1-2 leads here and there . But they each have their parts that are important to the unique sound that is *NSYNC. And they are not bitter, each knows what they have to do and are ok with that. Sure, when you listen to a song with «globbaly » ears, you tend to say that you are only hearing JC and JT. But if you pay real attention, you notice the other 3 and how they fill the song and make it amazing. Their harmonies are just so awesome.

JC was supposed to be the lead singer since he has the best voice, but Justin was dating Britney Spears at the time and that propelled his popularity, plus he had the "look." So Justin and JC both became the lead singers.
JC is and always will be 1st Primary Lead. All Nsync fans from the beginning know this as facts! Justin is 2nd lead. Just because the Evil Satanic Mainstream Music Industry tries and gaslight people’s memories, doesn’t make it true at all that Justin was primary lead. Based out of ALL discovery/ remixes of recorded songs (international and unreleased Nsync music too), JC is definitely primary lead.

Richard Marx is the songwriter and Nsync did a collab with him on this song and it was absolutely amazing. It's not normally what they did when they sang, but there was a part during the performance where JC and Justin harmonized, and I had mad goosebumps. On this performance particularly, JC when he did the first run, chose the lower notes instead of the higher like in the official video. I love listening to his voice on the higher notes and Justin and JC were both my favorites, but something about JC just always got me more with his voice. So good. You're right though, Justin is in hot water right now and I can imagine this will destroy his career a little, if not a lot.

Almost every NSYNC fans agree that JC has the best voice, and we definitely TALK about it. Even casual fans who knew the band would agree to this. Anyway, Richard Marx wrote this song but JT and JC also wrote a lot of songs for NSYNC. I think there's still a misconception that boy bands can't/don’t write their own music but NSYNC has proven otherwise. One of my favorite songs from theirs was No Strings Attached written by JC.
JC wrote a few songs on No Strings Attached & Justin wrote one on that same album. On Celebrity Justin wrote a majority of the album & JC had a few songs on it too.

This song was written by Richard Marx who was a huge star in the late 80's/early 90's with songs like Right Here Waiting and Hold On To The Night. Marx also wrote Dance With My Father by Luther Vandross and To Where You Are by Josh Groban.
I didn't know that he also wrote "To where you are". Such a beautiful song, even if it makes me cry, because it hits right into the feels.
JC is the BEST male vocalist and most talented dancer to come out of ANY boyband since MJ. He has got a 4 octave range voice and NONE of the current boyband vocalists comes close to him vocally (that includes the Black boybands too). Go and listen to “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” (JC wrote it). Other boyband singers from other bands (during the Boyband Christmas) could not do the song Justice like JC…not even David Archuleta.
It is criminal this man who is beautiful inside and out got robbed of a legendary career. He is a once in a generation type of artist that should be up there with Prince, Sting, Richard Marx!

JC had that it factor he was on the MMC with JT and even before JT started MMC. I think if the labels would have spend more time developing JC as a solo artist he would’ve went far. Because JCs vocals were always way better than Justins. That’s why JC always commanded the songs JC was the heart of NSYNC. JCs voice is very smooth R&B he doesn’t even have to try his vocals are powerful.

And JC just didn't have the charisma or, more specifically, the personality to be a true superstar. If he did, labels would have done for him what they did for JT. I know people don't like to hear this about people they personally love or connect with but it's just the truth. It's the same difference as Taylor Swift vs JoJo or maybe a better example would be Beyonce vs Kelly Rowland. All 4 of these women had success and were all tremendously talented but not everybody can be taylor swift or beyonce. And that's okay, that's not a knock on jc who is incredibly talented and a likable person. Some people are just different

my favorite singer in NSYNC is JC because he is the best and his voice is really amazing and the way he sings is always from the heart.
JT was definitely the most popular singer of the group back in the day. I think it was because he was charismatic and dancing was very popular. His voice was unique and in the '90s/early 2000s it was all about individuality. JC of course had the more powerful voice but Justin had that falsetto that made the girls go crazy 😂. This is what I loved about Nsync. They all contributed differently with unique voices.
They were really talented in harmonizing. They were the only boyband that emulated what the group Boys II Men were doing with harmonies. Of course they could never be as good but I thought they were the best in their era of boybands.

I have a reaction recommendation that would likely get a lot of views. It's by a recording duo most people in younger generations are completely unfamiliar, but they went from being complete unknowns to having their 1989 album going 6X Platinum (sold 6 million copies in the US) with 3 #1 US charts hits, a #2 US chart hit, and a #4 US chart hit. They won a Grammy for one of the songs. They were later embroiled in the biggest scandal in Grammy history when it came to light they did not sing a note on the album. They were lip-syncing and had to give their Grammy Award back. They public turned on them. They lost everything. There is a great documentary out about them recently released. One of them (Rob) spiraled out of control and died from a drug overdose years after being stripped of their Grammy award. The other (Fabrice) handled it much better and is currently married with kids and still performing. Apparently Fabrice took some voice lessons and sounds pretty good though the crowds now are much smaller.
If you haven't already guessed the name of the duo / band, I'm talking about Milli Vanilli (Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus). Blame It On The Rain is the song that won the Grammy. Girl You Know It's True and Baby Don't Forget My Number are the other two #1 hits from the 1989 album entitled Girl You Know It's True. The songs were fire. Their look and their dance moves were fire. This would be a great reaction video!!!

JC is truly the heart and soul of *NSYNC. Underrated and sabotaged by his own label company and his manager (same manager with JT at that time).
Justin could never have a the voice JC has Timbaland or not. The labels should have focused on JC going solo as well. Because JC was the lead singer. But they only focused on Justin going solo.
Richard Marx wrote the song. However, JC wrote a lot of songs in NSYNC catalogue. Justin did write a lot on the 3rd/final album Celebrity though.
