I appreciate your insight. So far personally I am finding more pros than cons… but I definitely see the struggles on the fb page. Communication definitely can be a con, you have to be really annoying to get a response sometimes by emailing everyone you can at once. The preceptorship being set up for us though is HUGE. Other schools make you find a preceptor and that preceptor can get sick or cancel on you too.

The lady that called me from the college was really nice. I was going to sign up but I have a bachelor's degree in Biology so instead of a 36-month program she only took out 4 months. I can't do a 32-month program and still end up with a BS in Nursing. I was hoping for an accelerated program.

Through those years I went to school part-time. It's been 3 years since I finished my BS and still trying to get into PA school. So now, I'm just tossing the PA idea because I don't have a flashy application with shadowing hours, GPA, and youth. I'm 55 years old and I need to get to the next level of my career.
