So after seeing this video I went to go try it out on one of my coils and it was a success. I'm actually shocked at how easy it is to twist your own hair. I tried doing it years ago and it never worked. Turns out all I was missing was some gel lol

I would strongly recommend using a gel for these, or maybe a leave in conditioner if you don’t wanna use gel. I don’t think they’ll form as good without any product.

You make this look so easy since all you really need is good holding gel and time I use a hair twist comb (looks like a tennis racket) the twists don't go down to the roots so it doesn't look as good as I'd like.
