This video features 12 INSANELY underrated weapons that can dominate Destiny 2 PvP. These weapons aren't very mainstream and stand out from the usual meta, but they're still really powerful and have a lot of potential in the Crucible... It blows my mind that some of these weapons are so overlooked in the current sandbox.

    @MrDeworDie Před 2 lety +25

Trinary System can be even more consistent than Timeline's in everything except zoom. It can roll with slideshot and Tap the trigger. Those 2 perks combined puts it over 100 stability even with out stability MW. Then if you run arrowhead and projection fuse with a range MW, you can get 83 range and 100 recoil with counterbalance mod. You can get it to 92 range of you switch to extended barrel instead of arrowhead, but that doesnt seem necessary.
Of course you're highly unlikely to roll that combo and, like he said in the video, Timeline's can get the highest zoom among fusions. So he right, Timeline's is the most consistent adaptive fusion in the game, but Trinary system is a close 2nd.

Don't sleep on High Albedo too! It is a great introductory sidearm because of its slim frame, high optics, and a small muzzle flash, giving it a clear sight picture, even while firing. I hate just about every other sidearm because the muzzle either kicks up too much or produces too much flash, both of which obscures my targets, which is incredibly annoying since sidearms aren't for giving in their aim assist on MnK, so High Albedo is a (literal!) breath of fresh air.: Its perk pool isn't as great as The Vision, but if you want to start out and practice with an Adaptive Burst sidearm, Variks is where you go to grind for one.

    But I will admit:
Tarrabah has become one of my favorite weapons to use in the PVE sandbox primarily due to its exotic perk. Being able to take care of trash mobs with a higher ROF and higher damage output during that ROF increase makes it a very interesting weapon to use, and even capable of tearing through portions of a champion's health without any artifact mods allocated towards SMG's this season.

Two weapons that many people sleep on, too:
Devil's Ruin: The meanest meme beam. Its an adaptive frame sidearm, which has a really good TTK already, and its charged shot has deceptively high range and a frightening TTK. If you get some headshots in there, you can one-beam a super. Its variable trigger is a bit finnicky to get used to for some people, as it fires on trigger-release rather than pull (I personally haven't seen it as a huge issue myself, though I'm on MnK)
Sunshot: My most used weapon in any activity, period. The only remaining 150 rpm hand cannon, it's balanced by its sub-par aim-assist stat. However, innate explosive payload for flinching and a surprisingly powerful, simpler version of Dragonfly makes this a very punishing weapon against hand-holders, even in 3v3 modes. I couldn't even count how many times blowing up an enemy on kill has saved my ass in 2v1s from my enemy's buddy coming around the corner just to instantly have their health cut in half by a Sun Blast. Also, it just looks sexy.

Hey shadow have you tried lonesome? It is beastly! I know you put sidearms at 3, but you only mentioned one of them so I wanted to chime in. I have an opening shot/full auto with almost max range (82 on little lite) and it shreds. I have about 3k kills on it and 1,250 from trials this season. I rarely come across it in pvp, but hey my gain lol. Thanks for all of your videos and keep them coming. I think you're one of the best streamers out there and really appreciate all of your extremely detailed videos. I have used your recommendations on pvp a ton and currently sit at top 10 percent in trials, which is a long way from my .34 k/d over a year ago. Mich appreciated!

Have a sacred provenance with rangefinder/kills clip. Was my first and only drop in that raid. Got around 1300 kills in pvp with it and still like it.

I've been using my goated high albedo I got recently, and it is destroying people. I played an "only sidarm" private match with some friends and I was one kill away from first place. My friends were using rat king and travelers chosen and I was decimating them at my guns effective range.

A Swift Verdict is criminally underrated with one targeting mod and a counterbalance mod you can get 100 AA and 100 recoil direction. It can roll threat detector and kill clip and with surprise attack .43 ttk easy and 260rpm sidearms have the most range. It’s easily the best in its archetype and can easily outduel the best last word users.
In one game session maybe 2 to 3 hrs I logged 500 kills on it, that’s when I knew.
    P.S. for the edited)
Kill clip and surprise attack stacks .23ttk
HOLY TWO TAPS with a SIDEARM!

On the retraced path weapon I just want to mention prometheus, its ttk doesnt get close to that of retraced path but if you like to run blade barrage you can have your dodge up nearly all the time. If you pair that with wormhusk you can have healing whenever you need it. Pair it with gemini and your opponents will basically never have radar. Bombardiers can also work but they arent nearly as good. Retraced path is better for general use but if you want to be a bad person prometheus is your guy.

For the Tommy’s matchbook, Ignition trigger works really well at Low health. And maintaining less than 75%, you do NOT need to go into the red in order to get the full 97% damage bonus. I dunno if this is helpful for anyone, but max ignition actually happens at around 50% of your shield.

I bought the Serengeti Revolver from Xûr last weekend (threat detector and timed payload) and I’ve only had about an hour with it in pvp and it’s already over 100 recorded defeats. I love it soooo much! It is such an amazing dueling hand cannon! That and I use the scout from the lure with threat detector and no distractions for that long range game. I’m a big time off-meta guy.

My Death Adder with Rangefinder and Feeding Frenzy is in its own realm of good. I hit 10k crucible kills on it the other day. For me it’s by FAR the most criminally underrated gun in the game. ESPECIALLY if you run Path of Burning Steps or Mantle of Battle Harmony. Sooo good.

its honestly the most satisfying auto ive used in a while and if you’re looking for consistency, definitely try getting your hands on one. i can’t consistently kill vex users, but this gun definitely locks a trade down against one and thats saying something. 👍

Devil's Ruin is easily hella underrated, at least on controller. The slower discharge then normal fusion rifles makes precharging and adjusting on target as you round a corner much more forgiving. Even if it used special ammo it would still be strong.
