Old bikes are a little better in this regard, just need to carry some extra oil, some washers, a toolkit and the number of a trusted mechanic on speed dial.
Retro styled cars aren't a thing, apparently due to pedestrian safety norms or something.

I think we have over-romanticised the idea of an imperfect Royal Enfield, but today realistically, if someone wishes to buy a Royal Enfield as their primary mode of transport they wouldn't appreciate it breaking down every now and then.
Now why I believe that this 2023 Bullet 350 will succeed, is because along with the visual cues, the "simplicity" and the "straightforward-ness" of this motorcycle is still intact while providing the reassurance of "built like a gun" reliability. So today, if a 25 year old can own an iconic piece of motorcycle with 90 years or so of lineage and not worrying about its surprise break-downs, I think that's a solid win for RE! 💯

So true, I'm happy RE continues to evolve and doesn't stagnate itself by listening to some romanticised idea of what a bike should be.
Harley Davidson is one brand that comes to mind who chose to listen to their nostalgia fueled ageing customer base on how their bike should be. HD stopped innovating and suffered when they failed to get new buyers into their fold and their hyper fan base slowly started dying out. It's only now they've embraced new technologies and different segments of bikes.
So point being, good thing RE isn't doing a 'Harley' and continues to get new buyers and embraces new tech.

Thank god i brought the bullet 2023 old gen. on time othervise i would have regretted my whole life for missing the chance. It's not bullet if it does'nt have a kick. Bullet is just a vibe.✌️
My friend has Classic but heard of reliability issues of earlier models,
But if this one is reliable and can go 300 KM's without breaking and with 100 kmph then would definitely would consider as primary vehicle as 25 year old.
It's like old memories in new shape, same as new Land Cruiser Prado which came recently which is older since 1970 but got relaunched now by Toyota.

Its very important to upgrade time to time w.r.t new generation. Initially looks difficult to adapt the changes but when its comes on the road, people's supposed to like the upgrade example: Swift, ScorpioN etc.
Also, i personally feel that LED/ DRL should incorporate in future which gives a new generation dashing design.

Standard black would sell most in numbers just cause of those familier looks .....In rural area people still buy standard bullet instead of new classic, even if standard bullet becomes costlier than classic people would still buy it , don't even bother to take a test ride any day.....Was waiting for your video ...and as always very good video❤

Regarding the nostalgia, I believe it was time for product to evolve. The same was said when in 2009-10 when shift was made from cast iron engines, so much that many like me bought 2nd hand bullets at high prices! But the new gen proved better over time. My old electra is great but still a pain when I compare it to classics of the day. I think this is a great bike! I mean everyone loves landi (open) jeeps of the old days, but how many of us would use it as our daily driver ?
I have 2015 electra, wow the feel, the wide handles, the manuevr in traffic

My dad bought an RE Classic 500 back in 2018. Stealth black. Let me tell you, nothing, i repeat, nothing can be compared to the Feel, the Heaviness, the comfort, the power delivery of this absolute beast. And never will i ever trade it for literally anything in the world.
(Maybe because i haven't driven many other bikes/motorcycles and so, i am a bit biased. But, i don't think any other machine could still possibly change my opinion)

I have driven many bikes. Owned GS150R and Pulsar 220. Used friends Classic 350, R15, CBR250, etc.
But one ride of Classic 500 and I started hunting for one. Now own a used 2016 Classic 500. It's in top notch condition. And am not gonna exchange it for anything.

I tried to find one for me from almost all the dealers in odisha but I was hurt .
Luckily I found one in Tamil Nadu after a continues efforts for almost a week..

I want to share something related hazard lights. 2 din pehle ham hill station Gaye the tab joro ki barish chalu thi as a topical Indian sab logo ne hazard light chalu karke ccar chala rahe the including my father also 😐 but ek turn pe ek Alto kharab thi and driver ne hazard light chalu kar di because pas me ek ped tha uske niche woh chai pi rahe the . Road single lane thi without side road lanes as well as no reflector. Around 600 meter distance pe woh Alto hame dikhi and my father thought that barish he that's why hazard light chalu he. At that point 200 meters pe realise hua ki samne gadi ruki he thanks to ABS ham time le break kar paye and sab safe bache. Fir I told to my father that "Chalti gadi me please Hazard lamp mat chalao " Thank you for such important message sir.
i own bullet standard 1986 model the way it sounds the thump and dug dug it just on another level only those who own old models re will understand and my grandfather bought it brand new and even today i don’t feel like selling it . thank you dadu for a machine you gifted your son who gifted his son and i might also gifted it to my son. sadly am from delhi and 15years of restrictions just 😢 sucks.

I'm an 18 year old and the word Bullet 350 means a longer engine connecting rod(people call it longer stroke) engine, which gives thumps instead of brrs! This type of engine gives strong lows and mids! These are in classic too but crank of bullet is a bit longer hence that Bullet feeling!

I think changes is required to be in the market. If you are stuck with the old the eventually you will be out of competition. In the past every company had their old successful model but they also came accross. So what changes are required by a new age bikers that should be implemented and RE doing that. 👍❤

Gagan Bhai RE has failed to maintain the DNA of Bullet 😢 J-series engine based Bikes are totally different in nature.
Only a person who owned older bullet know the pain of maintaining that bike,
Few issues i had with older model
1) tyre size
2) poor braking
3) no rear abs
4) not a big fan of exhaust sound, first thing people uswd to do was to change the stock exhaust- then no point of complaining of older bike was good and all
5) refinement - cant ride it above certain speed - cannot see in mirror
6) dont want to be nerd to claims i am masculine just bcz i have patakha wali bullet

My father had this bullet and he died when I was 6 years old. I have a photograph of him on a bullet wearing a blue turtle neck and denims. I will recreate the same and give a sweet surprise to my Mom. I can buy a bullet with my 10 days earning and so far I had never thought about it and planned for buying a super meteor but while watching your video I got reminded of that photo of my father and decided I will gift my mom a new photo of me on a bullet wearing the same outfit.
