  • You can't beat a good swipe painting! This one creates a simple beach scene with ombre water, foam and sand. Great to hang as a simple art work on its own, or use as a background.

This is as perfect as it gets! Every time you went to clean your palette knife after each swipe I was terrified you were going to drip paint on the rest of the painting!

This is really lovely! Did you put silicone in the white as well?

Amazing! Does it work without pouring medium? I mean, i add only silicone.

Well you can try with just paint, water and silicone but typically the results won't be so good. Pouring medium of some sort is the foundation of acrylic pouring and almost certainly needed to get the best results.

H Deby Great to see a video from you. Have missed seeing you. What have you been up to lol Every time you wiped the pallette knife and carried it over top of the painting I held my breath. lol All good though :-)

Sadly I've retired from art and had to sell my remaining supplies. I just have a few videos I am finishing up editing and then I'll be done. I just couldn't make it pay enough to even cover the cost of my supplies :-( It breaks my heart, but eventually I had to admit defeat. I might love it, but I am terrible at making money online!

How vigorous did you mix the oil into the paints? Thank you. Really like it!

I always mix the oil into the paint thoroughly. I don't subscribe to the theory that mixing it in just a little gives big cells. I've found that it just leaves voids on the canvas and oily patches that are more difficult to remove.
