There is no doubt he was a good music director. But his songs almost Yesudas and Jayachandran got it chance. But late Shri. K.P. Brahmanandan didn't give chance by him..He was a good singer..But he didn't give more songs to him.
He gave a lot of chances for new Comer's. Eg: ayiroor sadasivan, sreekanth, nilamboor karthikeyan, madhuri, salma george & famous gazal singer Hariharan ( swathu in 1980). He given chances to bramanandhan in 4 or 5 movies.
