      Actually, no, you didn't.
      Yahushua means Yahuwah is salvation.
You know, Yahushua the Nazarene from Yahudah?
You can thank the Scribes for the bad Translations and Counterfeit Feast Days. :(
      Remember Acts 15?: yahushua.net/scriptures/acts15.htm
Redemption will happen the second Yahushua returns for the obedient faithful at the Last Trumpet.
You will not understand when the SEASON will be if you do not understand the Feast Days, but the info is here for all of you.
I asked quite a lot of questions and did some digging over the kast few years, and I thought I'd share it... I never once told anyone in here that Scripture is not enough... but I will tell you that ENGLISH DOES NOT tell the whole story.

Hi Josh, When the "sacred name" nonsense hit our shores, you are correct, I'd been walking with & serving the Lord for almost 40yrs. Wanting to serve Christ to the best of my ability I went to the scriptures first, then asked my husband (a Jew by blrth but raised a Christian) his opinion. I had studied Latin for 7 years, Greek for less & had very little Hebrew. My wise husband says, "Do you not think that the God who created & saved you knows when you call on Him in your own language?" He also reminded me that, as our God is omnipotent, He knows everything, so, we don't have to "dumb things down" for him.........Another thing that shook me to the core was a You Tuber, "The Other Side Of Darkness", covered this same topic. She said, when she was tortured by satanists as a child & asked to renounce the "name" of the Saviour that name was.......Jesus Christ. The devil gets us so tied up in other nonsense that we get distracted from the Great Commission. I'm glad you brought up the name "Abba" that is the Jewish equivalent of "Daddy" (a little child's name for "Dad") we should be honored to be able to call the Creator that most intimate of names. Thanks for the vlog!!!!!

The Name of Yahushuah is not a doctrine. It's the Name the apostles called the Savior. It's what His mom called Him. Yes, we do get prayers answered with Jesus, just as other nations get prayers with their names for the Savior. But what is wrong with using His actual Name? There is no "foolishness" in using His real Name, as you claim. It is just respectful.
There is no J in Hebrew. That is easy to learn online. You don't have to know Hebrew to get that. You complain about people making claims without being fluent in Hebrew, but you do not seem to be fluent in Hebrew yet you are using names like "ignorant" to describe those who don';t use the name Jesus.
I never say the name Jesus comes from Zeus. That is a side issue. The real issue is, what is the real Name? Again, what's wrong with using the real Name? You say you can't say what they called Him in Biblical. Well, we can be darned sure it was not Jesus.
Let's see what the BIBLE says about the Sabbath.
Yes, we are saved solely by faith in the Isaiah 53 Savior. However, He said "If you love Me, keep My Commandments." His Commandments are the same as His Father's as They are One. . The Bible says that the Almighty "will not alter what goes out of His mouth." If that is not true, the Bible is not reliable. At Mt. Sinai, to the ears of the terrified Israelites below, He audibly spoke the 10 Commandments. This included a Fri. nightfall to Sat. nightfall Sabbath. NOTHING in the Bible says the Sabbath was changed to Sunday..
    .
People say "Paul said....Paul said..." But Paul said to follow the Savior, not him, and anyway Paul never said the Sabbath was changed and certainly had no authority to change what was audibly spoken by our Creator and written on stone with His very finger. When he said "Let no man judge you" he was talking to new converts and encouraging them in their observance, not NON observance, of the Biblical holy days, i.e. to not give into pagan peer pressures.
. Throughout the New Testament you can see that the apostles, including Paul, actually kept the Mosaic Law. In Acts 15, for example, "even" the food laws are upheld and yes, for NON Jewish converts. We see there that blood is still forbidden and that the new converts are expected to be, as was the tradition, in Synagogues, on the Sabbath, to learn the rest of the Law of Moses. In Acts 21 we see that Paul, and all those in the Jerusalem Council, upheld the Law of Moses and Paul took an oath to demonstrate that.
    .
Read the false accusations spoken against Stephen. He was falsely accused of saying that our Savior came to do away with the Law of Moses. Acts 6:11-14. Further, our Savior affirmed the Sabbath by telling his followers, about the time when the Temple would be destroyed - after His Ascension - "Pray that your flight will not be in the winter or on the Sabbath." He wanted them to be able to rest on the Sabbath in the future, as always in the past. . You can see some RCC leaders online admitting to the fact that the Bible does not sanction a Sunday Sabbath, but that Protestants keep it anyway since - guess who changed it? ROME, under the pagan sun worshipper Constantine, changed it over a millenium ago. Constantine said that Christians were to be executed if they kept the true Sabbath and said they needed to rest "on the venerable day of the sun." Check it out.
Sun...day. It's not the Sabbath. However, the Father of Mercies knows we are all confused children. We need not to turn on others about it, therefore, but to show love. If we do not, no matter what we do it's all a waste, certainly not the path to Heaven. Yet, if you want to move away from "traditions of men" to the real truths of the real Bible, I recommend 119 Ministries' vids, starting with The Pauline Paradox. . And yes, you can rest or worship on any day of the week, but you are not supposed to...work...or cook...on the Sabbath - neither you nor those in your home, nor any servants (think waitresses and sales clerks etc.). Not even animals are to work then, or be penned up then. In fact, in Isaiah we are told to keep the Sabbath holy unto the Lord and also not to buy or sell on that day.
    .
The Sabbath is the longest Commandment and is stated in the Bible to be the very sign given to Israel of their Covenant with Him. (The New Testament tells us to be grafted into what? Israel.) Other nations had laws against murder and theft for example. Only those who wanted to Covenant with YHWH, aka God, were asked to keep the Sabbath. In the New Testament we are told to be grafted into Israel.. The 4th Commandment is not a suggestion. And no, I'm not a 7th Day Adventist. You don't need a "religion". You just need the Bible and the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

You know right that the “Ten commandments” is the covenant that God made with Israel on Mt Sinai?
And for there to be a “New covenant” the old has to be done away with?
And you know that throughout the Epistles of the apostles of Christ Jesus they established what are the commandments, and law is?
And you know that Paul or any of the other Apostle of Jesus Christ never rebuke a believer in the epistles about not keeping the sabbath, or admonished the believers to keep the sabbath? You know that right?
But we do have over and over again Paul and the other Apostle rebuking for immorality and worldliness and admonish the believers to morally and upright living.
      1 Thessalonians 4:1-3
1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort [you] by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us

I started to get into the Sacred Name movement and realized it's just a matter of translations, ect. And remember I was saved by calling on the name of Jesus Christ. I listened to Jacob Prasch as well and read his newsletters, Moriel, a long time ago. Jacob was THE person who pointed out the church in the UK is dead, and having a "laughing revival" while Islam is growing in the UK and in Europe in general. That was over 10 years ago and what he said then has been proven right. His point was there has not been revival in decades. He has good depth.

47 God fearing men translated the bible into English. English has been the second language of so many nations. So much persecution and martyrdom because of this translation. Jesuits counter-reformation couldn't change the bible much because people knew and loved it. So they began changing punctuation, the meaning of words, creating revised bibles "easier to read". I agree with you: if you speak English it is Jesus Christ. There is so much bickering and fighting in the so-called churches. So much hypocrisy, conflict, compromise, and confusion. Those who are legalistic are full of arrogant self-righteousness. People end up making the Gospel very complicated and the Christian walk totally impossible to walk in peace and joy. I took a class in college on the History of the English language and we are guessing on the pronunciation of modern English let alone middle, Elizabethan, old, etc. English changed from being mostly germanic to latin, germanic, and romantic compound in 400 year. The word "Sacrifice" is a latin term. If you go to Canada, people express words and idioms differently. I work and know many foreign language speakers. They don't understand English idioms and culture. Heck, I had a guy from England in one class at college. He asked a classmate for a Rubber and was surprised by what the guy gave him. (A rubber is an eraser in England). To think we can go back 2000 years later and have a better english or any other translation is crazy. The translations the Hebrew Roots movement changes the words "New Covenant" to "Renewed Covenant". The problem is, they are guess and changing the bible based on a preconceived notion. I don't believe there is anything wrong with being Torah adaptive. In fact I think most of it is good. Murder, incest, rape, stealing, etc should be punished. The problem is that without a full system of courts, the laws become ineffective. I believe these were physical laws manifest for a physical time that had a physical punishment. They get caught up in being "cut off" because their sin (infraction of the law) and somehow forget that Christ was "cut off" not for himself it says in Daniel. The modern hebrew name Yeshua (not how it was pronounced 2000 year ago) means GOD SAVES. Which, they believe salvation through grace, but many of them differ on the role of the law and eternity. Some say we keep the law out of love, others say we must be more righteous than scribes to go to heaven (Matt 5-7), others say our rewards are based on obedience, and others say we will receive lashes for disobedience. Isiah said he took our stripes and by his wounds we are healed. The only clear difference it that they celebrate the sabbath, feasts, and new moons. I would argue that they are beautiful representation of Christ and that's all. I admit the NT is not super clear on the need to celebrate them or not. I just don't think it is necessary, especially the feast as they all included animal sacrifices. I could go on and on, because I have done a lot of study on this. I don't think the most of the HR guys think we are going to hell, I think they are trying to be as far away from any so-called pagan influence. The debate is, what is pagan and what is not. As many times as the Israelites were in captivity, I would bet that many things were adapted from pagan. In fact, most scholars say the month days the current Hebrew calendar uses are pagan.
The way I look at it is, Christ died and the world is still broken. I avoid things clear in the NT and try to live a good life, but I know I am still a sinner and utterly broken. I am waiting for his full deliverance. I am anchored in the veil, that is his flesh. Hebrews is the best book in the Bible. It says that we must make every effort to enter his rest, but also we must rest from our works. I just trust in christ and put no confidence in man. If I avoid the things that are clear and don't accept a man's guess on what these days are and how we should do them without animal sacrifice, I believe I am falling from grace and trusting in a myself and a guess made by men. If early christians celebrated these days (some, I believe did) we have no idea how or why or on what day. It is lost in history. I go to church on Sunday to honor his resurrection (though Sunday may not be the 1st day on the 2000 year ago Hebrew calendar). I trust he lived a life I couldn't. Heck, Moses broke God's laws. These guys just love Moses and trust Jew despite 600 pages of the Jews not getting it right. I hope getting it right is not the rubric. If it is..... DOOMED. TRUST IN JESUS!

Dont you think we should be asking the FATHER in prayer to Him what we should do. It is no new thing that there will always be cults and heresies, manmade doctrine and downright lies....all of which we are warned about, and should take heed, but we ALL are told to work out our OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING. We need to seek the scriptures for ourselves asking the Father for guidance and not forsaking the obvious call to know His true name by His word. Hear Him and heed to what HE SAYS in His word. In His word we are given only a few names that the patriarchs and prophets and even Yahusha Himself has spoken and if we just cater to others opinions and ask man rather than the Father, who then are we following? If the scriptures tell us His NAME then we need to go by HIS NAME. And this "scholar who is FLUENT IN HEBREW should not be telling people the true Fathers name is not important. There is ONLY ONE NAME by which we are saved. Work it out for yourselves and ASK the ONE who will never lead you astray. He will reveal it to you...if you ask. Dont follow these movements ...your salvation is your own and no one can lead you to the Father but the Son. Therin lies your answer.

Amen CJ. This is such a powerful and sincere comment. I'm glad to see this and am hoping and praying that others who are seeking the truth also find these comments. I see it very similarly to the way that you have described it. Before we ever jump to conclusions, we are to be reminded to seek the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us to the truth. The answer that we receive after being lead by the Holy Spirit will never ever contradict Scripture. Names in the Hebraic language are very important. They each have significant meaning and context behind them. The Hebraic names are perfect just the way they have been given to us. No need to change or alter them. The unwillingness to allow the Holy Spirit full reign in leading us to the truth is very dangerous because an example of his purpose for us all being on such a video as this one might be to try to show us just how important these Holy names really are and start to wonder why would a name that Yahweh felt was perfect just the way that he gave it to us in the Holy Scriptures as his Son (Yahshua) not be good enough for us to honor as much as possible as people who are seeking to live a Biblically sound life? A life that is set apart. A life where we are willing to abandon the things of our flesh and seek to draw closer to our Creator every day of our lives. Something to consider. I pray that this helps someone to be drawn closer to the truth in Yashua's name.

Exactly. I know how I refer to my saviour but I don't go pushing it on other people. Something that was not mentioned here in this video and was assumed that people who know his real name go around pushing it on other people. I'm not legalistic. Also assumed twice that those interested in His name don't know the person. Everyone seems to be tarred with the same brush in this video. But through my relationship with the Lord I know how I have been led. The above comment is so true. And unless the enemy is wanting to cause division I cannot see it as a work of the enemy for someone to seek out the true name. There are some words in scripture that has been translated and some words that have been transliterated like the word Amen. Is it not therefore important to transliterate the name of the saviour? And at the 8 to 9 minute mark I'm not quite sure if the word transliterate is understood. And why at the beginning of this video does this guy assume that all the people that seek the true name of the saviour were like him in which he said he wasn't even born again at the time and didn't have a relationship with the saviour. Again tarring everyone with the same brush. I understand his point but it would have been better if he made this video without the immature rash comments. He is talking to brothers and sisters and you win people over better if you restore people, after all he thinks he's restoring people, in the Spirit of meekness like the Bible says

18“For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. 19“Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the heavens; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the heavens.

Any "Rap-TU-RO" or "HAR-PA-ZO" in those accounts? No.
In order to know the SEASON Yahushua will return, you must become familiar with Yahuwah's feasts in Leviticus 23.
This fills a DUAL purpose because you learn when and how to observe and honor the proper Sabbath days that you are being POINTED TO in Acts 15 and Rom.1-3.
      Read carefully, please.
If you know a little Hebrew, you know that AHAYAH ASHER AHAYAH is I AM THAT I AM, which IS NOT EVERYTHING Moshe heard. He also would have heard Yahuwah... You can figure a LOT out when you start with HAllelUYAH... it is a HEBREW word. Read from right to left.
As far as the Name and Babylon, Yas'ra'el's slavemasters made fun of them and called them YAHOOS, so Yaraboim burned and tore the name out of the Manuscripts.

I personally don't care what name you use. If you like "Jesus", this is ok by me. If you prefer "Yeshua" (like me), that's ok too. He knows who you're talking to either way. But I always thought it was odd to change the pronunciation of someone's name because you might speak a different language. For example, if my name is "William", you don't have to pronounce it differently because you may speak a different language. Wouldn't it be odd for people who speak Chinese, for example, to pronounce it like "George"? Your accent may cause the name to sound slightly different, but it will still sound like William.

The name Jesus is derived from the Latin Iesus, a transliteration of the Greek Ἰησοῦς (Iesous). The Greek form is a rendering of the Hebrew ישוע‎ (Yeshua), a variant of the earlier name יהושע‎ (Yehoshua), in English "Joshua". The name Yeshua appears to have been in use in Judea at the time of the birth of Jesus.

You preach of pride and self righteousness; but brother, your comments in this video is also self righteous. You say that most people don’t even study or speak Aramaic, but there are Jewish, Hebrew speaking believers, and those who have devoted years and years of bible study (including in Greek and Aramaic) who are part of this movement. We are ALL told to be on our guard, look out for false teachers and study for ourselves, that belief without works and obedience and words as evidence of that belief is DEAD, according to the guy you call James, We are told to REPENT from DEAD WORKS, etc, and we are told WHAT to do, and WHEN AND HOW to do it, yet most of you say all that stuff is LEGALISM???
What book are you studying? :(

Do you think keeping the true sabbath is Hebrew roots legalism if it’s stated in the fourth commandment to observe it? This is an honest question. The Bible calls God’s sabbath “an everlasting covenant, a sign between you and I, that I am the god that doth sanctify you” And furthermore the sabbath was established at creation, not by Moses or any Old Testament figure. The Roman Catholic Church is responsible for changing the sabbath to Sunday. What are your thoughts?

Why are folks playing a tug of war over a name between Jesus and Yahusha? The Messiah honors both names as long as we obey and follow his laws and commands daily. The name Jesus wasn't around back then cause there's no English back then until 500 years ago. Is there common ground between those who call the Messiah's name in English and Hebrew?

I never refer to God as simply YAH bc in Korean, YAH translates to "Hey you!!." It's actually disrespectful to say YAH to someone. Ppl say it when they're angry or annoyed with someone of lower rank/status. If you said YAH to your Korean boss, you would be fired on the spot. Makes me cringe when ppl praise YAH as if God is their homie.

    @Lysimachus78 Před 6 lety +1

I agree with you about the Sacred Name 100%. Excellent. I appreciate the work you did here. I also wrote a paper on this which I may share sometime.
If you don't mind, however, I will share with you concerning the Sabbath. Let's not forget that the Seventh-day Sabbath is written among the Ten Commandments. And we know that all 10 Commandments carry into the New Covenant. Some say there's no "command" to keep the Sabbath in the New Testament. But neither is there any direct command to not take the Lord's name in vain, nor is there any direct command prohibiting bestiality or incest (prohibitions only given in Leviticus, but not repeated in the NT). Yet common sense tells you these principles carry into the NT.
It is argued that Sabbath-keeping is descriptive, and not prescriptive in the NT. Yet what they fail to realize is that which is descriptive concerning the Sabbath, is based on the fact of what is prescriptive.
We find the evidence of the continued validity of the Sabbath for both Jew and Gentile Christians alike (not the annual sabbaths or annual feasts or new moons or sacrifices), in Genesis 2:2,3; Mark 2:27,28; Isaiah 56:1-8; Isaiah 58:12-14; Isaiah 66:2,3; Matthew 24:20; Luke 23:56; Hebrews 4:1-11; Acts 13:42-44; Acts 15:19-21; Acts 16:13; Acts 17:2 and Acts 18:4.
It has been proven that the sabbaths of Colossians 2:16 are referring to the annual sabbaths.
While the Moral Law and the Sabbath (which is a part of that Moral Law) was RECORDED "IN" the Law of Moses, it was not what "made" the Law of Moses. What "makes" the Law of Moses is the sacrificial system. The feasts and annual sabbaths and new moons are TIED to the sacrifices. See Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23:37.
But before the Law of Moses was even spoken, the Sabbath was identified as "MY LAW" (God's Law, not Moses' law) in Exodus 16. And they kept the Sabbath APART from any sacrifices, unlike with the feasts and annual sabbaths. The annual sabbaths were Trumpets and Day of Atonement. And since Heorte in Greek (festival) only covered the 3 annual pilgrimage festivals (Passover, Unleavened Bread/Passover, and Pentecost), it is no wonder Paul had to add "sabbaths which are a shadow of things to come, but the body is of Christ" (Col. 2:16,17). He's qualifying which kind of sabbaths he's referring to. Those tied to the sacrificial system which was a symbol of the body of Christ.
Besides, the Sabbath was made "FOR" mankind (Mark 2:27), while the sabbaths of Colossians 2:16 are under the umbrella of those ordinances which were "against" us (v. 14).

Respectfully, is that scriptural? Where is it in the Holy Bible that says its okay to change Their Holy Names? YHWH (Lord) specifically gave us this intimate detail to draw us closer and you believe HE changed HIS mind? Our Creator put the names in the Bible HE expects us to use. Where in the Bible does it say some of what our HOLY PERFECT ELOHOM doesn't matter? Thats a determinate of man. Can we trust man according to scripture or Our Heavenly Father? YHWH does all HE does for a reason. Why would He grant us tge privilege of knowing HIS name if HE didn't want us to use it?
Do you think YHWH or YESHUA would prefer to hear the names HE wrote down, or a man made name? God/Lord are very generic and were used to replace our Creators name and the name of The Messiah by "The Ineffable doctrine" presumably as an attempt to curtail their respective names being blaspheme or taken in vain. A man made decision.

The Hebrew language that the old testament was written in did not even use vowels and was a dead language for almost 1500 years. This sacred name movement is only a few decades old and for it to be true then every Christian that died before its invention would have to be in hell. The new testament was originally written in Greek and Jesus Christ is the only name on earth by which man can be saved.

The Christian denominations will say sunday is the day of rest(which was instituted by the catholic church). But the real Scripture calls for the remembrance and setting apart of the seventh day. It is a sign between Yehovah and His people.

The name "Jesus" didn't appear until 1769.
"Jesus" was previously written as "Iesus" before the introduction of the letter "J".
"Iesus" is NOT a translation it is a transliteration of the Greek name "Iesous".
"Iesous"in Greek has a direct translation into Hebrew as "Yehoshua" and "Yeshua" in Aramaic.
"Yehoshua" and "Yeshua" have a direct translation into English as "Joshua".
    "Iesous" = "Yehoshua" = "Yeshua" = "Joshua"
    "Iesous" does not = "Jesus"
The name "Jesus" is the direct result of poor scholarship.

Josh Coen If by scholar you mean one with a degree from an accredited institution in both Greek and Hebrew as well as one who the knows the difference between a fact and an opinion, or perhaps one who knows the history and origin of the modern Bible, then yes, I am a scholar. However, the statement of facts are just that facts. The education of the one stating the facts is irrelevant and nothing more than an argument of authority, which in any civil debate is also irrelevant as if one does not recognize the authority to which the other makes reference.
Are you a scholar? Or perhaps another "puffed up researcher". By the looks of your poor Grammer in English, which I would presuppose is your first language, I would dare argue that you've no credibility to any of your claims made in your video. That is, aside from the fact that you cite no evidence, you also obviously don't know enough about the origin of the name "Jesus" to make such a ludacrious statement as "If you speak English His name is Jesus." When the facts are that in English the name "Yeshua" is "Joshua".

I usually find that writing it as Yahshua seems to be clearer for others to also see this fact. I believe that anyone questioning this circumstance should 1st deeply seek understanding and wisdom by the Holy Spirit who shall lead us to all truth. In doing so, I have felt more and more lead to the realization that names especially (Hebraicly speaking) have significance. Yahweh is perfect just the way that it is written and the same can be said for his Son and my Savior Yahshua. Now that I've been lead to this understanding of these names, I plan to honor their names as it was written. Period. Confusion can be laid to rest.

You've missed a bigger point which is that the Messiah's original Hebraic name has been proven to be correct and is widely known and recognized, It is a deception to focus on any other name except the name that is above all names and the name that literally means YHWH is Salvation which is Yeshua. Iesous was not his original name but was yet another translation from his original, true Hebrew name which is still the same name. It is controversial that anyone would ever have dared to change his name to begin with when he would have been recognized and known-widely by his Hebraic name only. Hebrew/Aramaic is the real deal. Greek is not the original. Latin is not the original. English is the newest. Do more research @flawdaw... Its a very important subject.
