Very poor and cheap way of installing a floor, some form reinforcement is needed eg. brc wire mesh. The days of cutting out walls to run conduits are over, that's extra cost u can easily avoid, run all your conduits when the blocks are been layed. Many of the trade men in Jamaica are stuck in the old fashion ways of construction.

Couldn’t the flooring be compacted with sand and then tile? It would still be durable and withstand all disasters once cared for.

Nice video can you include yes I’m doing an extension and oh boy. So you recommend purchasing your own material and just paying for the job itself
It is best to purchase your materials and check on how to is being used. Ensure your contractor is not selling your material and asking you to keep purchasing more.

If the prices of building keep going up in Jamaica, I guarantee you will start seeing Hispanics and other people they’re building the house is at a cheaper rate. The people they’re building houses now need to get out of their mind they get rich quick scheme by charging a lot of money.
