Fix- This AirTag is Connected to Another Apple ID

While Setting up AirTag is it showing “This AirTag is Connected to Another Apple ID”, it means the AirTag was not removed from the previous Apple ID. In this video Tutorial we will show you how you can remove the AirTag from one Apple ID, so you can easily pair it with a new one.

Why can’t two Apple ID’s share one or more AirTags? Seems important for things like pets.

It is possible. The first person that sets it up, has to ‘Share item’ in the Find My app

xthelxvadameex863 Bro, You can try doing it from the icloud Account Find My. Sign in to iCloud account from any browser, select Find My, when you see you AirTag, delete it. it should fix the issue.☺️

You can contact Apple Support for assistance, as they may offer alternative solutions or help reset the AirTag's ownership if you provide proof. If the AirTag is lost, removing the battery can disable it. ☺️
