Simultaneously, Doc cobbles together his skyblock solitary while xB sculpts his sandcastle seclusion, both grumbling for not so different reasons. Keralis is on vacation everywhere, at all times, for as far as I can tell, no reason.
Favourite line in the video, "here's a little bit of me and Keralis" sounds like the start of a song.

So adding orange to the skin you say? The cuffs of your jacket could be a way to add the pop of color. Feels like you just changed jackets or something for the season. It would change first person, but could be cool.

how would you feel about living in a whirlpool? Walls made of cyan glass mixed in with ice that's broken away from nearby ice flows. Slightly cone shaped. The other idea was to live in a giant bowl but, uh... the whirlpool sounded better

XB I would watch you and Keralis hang out for hours. The vibe the two of you have together is so chill and it’s so clear how much you care about each other and enjoy just being in each other’s company. You going with the bit while Keralis drank his tequila sunrise? Incredible.
Also seeing the walls in the three wide block has given me some inspiration - I love using walls and slabs to make builds a little more delicate but always end up with things out of line or not quite working. I’m using aged copper and cyan wool and concrete because I’m not brave enough to tackle an ocean monument for prismarine but the dye is easy enough to get, but the cyan/black colour palate is awesome.

Always love the hang sessions with Keralis! He's great. Someone should take that man to court and sue him for being so dang charming.
Not biome specific, but you can change the cold-climate gradient for grass to something that pops better. But I still think that's not quite what you want either.
Those dots toward the interior that seem to be bothering you, and are mirrored on the other side, could just be gone🤔. With the trellis-like structure right next to those areas, removing those bumps makes sense, leaving space for any detail to that entrance feature that you might choose. ❤

I think there is a way to change the grass color on the individual biomes. Vanilla Tweaks has a texture pack called ''golden savanna'' that makes the grass more golden, but only in the savanna, so you might be able to edit that or use that principal to make a pack spefifically for making ocean grass greener.

You can't change biome specific grass, but you can use moss, carpeting, glow lichen, skulk veins, green concrete sand, waterlogged leaves, non-waterlogged leaves, hydrated coral, aged copper blocks, warped nylium, etc. to create some variety and hue shifts in the grass. Side note: I think some hydrated coral sculptures would look amazing in your base!

I’d make those dots match the outside and have one against the structure missing, then I’d add something in place of it to even it out there. That way you don’t have to expand in any direction, you just even them out to the wall/opening part and add some decor around it to blend it in.
re: adding orange to the skin; orange parts on the shoulders or elbows of the jacket could be cool, or even something as simple as a shirt pocket or some buttons! a tie could also work if you wanna be silly with it!

Regarding the blocks out of place on the monument: Why not just get rid of the blocks in the corner/s? You could put something else there instead if you want.

I'm seeing opaque walls that fade to glass as they approach glass tubes emerging from the walls and meander around the outter oceans to pods or towers or back into the walls.

I mean, you *can* change biome specific grass... but it won't help in this particular case. You can modify the foliage color map, which affects the coloration of the grass in specific types of biomes, but the coloration in the biome in general (including when placed in the ocean) is the same as the Plains Biome, so every biome that uses that specific color would be modified. If changing it based on a build in the birch forest, however, only the birch forest would have that unique coloration, which makes it one spot where custom grass is rarer, compared to Plains coloration being in most biomes; Nether, Savanahs, Desert, and Badlands usually being so huge (when grass is even in them); and Dark Forest and Jungle requiring a lot more clearing stuff away. I really wish there were more coloration options per biome, but short of retexturing a different block, most biome grass is the same as Plains grass coloration.

You could put orange on the trim of the sleeves instead of cyan but keep it on the base. Or you could add orange patches on the shoulders

When I wanted to make an area in my base have variation in the grass, I added in green wool and the azalea bushes (both flowering and not). It gave a slight variation in pattern and color.
did you noticed that the same unniligned barf block thing repeats on the sides' back portion of the monument too?
I think if all the "cobbled" prismarine (I don't know what that blocks name is) could be replaced with deepslate tiles like you did with the wals it would look really good
maybe you can use warped nylium to break up the grass? its got the bright greens in it and the teal wouldnt be too out of palette

@3:25 You may be able to fake a second type of grass with moss blocks.
Maybe light blue glass panes for the uneven dots on the front. I remember using it to “fix” a castle wall I didn’t want to redesign. They look like one wide but take up 2 blocks
There is a way to change grass colours specifically. It isn't biome dependant though its temperature dependant which is kinda biome dependant.
You could modify the gradient of all less vibrant grass to be more vibrant. It is a simple texturepack change no datapacks or mods needed.
I doubt you will see this, but I would replace the knobby bits with solid beams of some sort - a contrasting color. It would break up the green and eliminate the even numbers.
Jokes aside, I would be VERY entertained by a Hermitcraft skyblock series
Probably need netherite beacons to really get the dark colors on top of the monument. 😂
Suggestion: removing those little dots on top of the monument? And then probably add the splash of black up there somehow??..

Steak is in a Higher Tier than bacon. Tastes equally as good, but you can eat significantly more for the same amount of calories. Plus bacon is generally cooked with other unhealthy foods to make it even worse whereas the same isn't necessarily true for steak. So many different types of steak whereas I feel like all bacon is basically the same. I will die on this hill with a porterhouse in my mouth and cholesterol in my heart.

Im confused.....if you take jungle grass block and place it in the swamp....u get swamp grass block..it doesnt stay that biome it came from...so how did u get ur grass brighter.........i was going to suggest u mix the grass with moss and bone meal the gass and have it grow in a few places and use shears and place some more grass on the moss....kinda blend it
