My aunt died from cardiac arrest today morning- she had covid- yes I am trying to find an answer. She was obese, high blood pressure. This video has helped a lot.
I am not obese, I have high blood pressure in my heart sometimes Extremely out of rhythm, it’s been over two years since I first had c
What if I was born with a heart defect but it has no effect in my life and I have no meds. Am I still higher risk

Are you positive of the virus before? Then eventually turned negative after 2 weeks? And is your palpitation frequent?
Would a person that is now 18 yrs. old that was born with an ASD which was surgically repaired with a patch at age 7 and have had no complications since the surgery encounter any adverse complications is he contracts COVID-19?
Thanks so much..... I have lots of heart and lung problems. I do have defibrillator/pacemaker. I think that is a plus that could save my life. I take amiodarone metroplol..... and flecainide.
I hope if I get it that will help me if I get it.
i know a doctor who can help you get rid of it permanently
How bout if you have slight heart elargement and Pulmonary hypertension? Is it ok to get a vaccine?
The music is disturbing....difficult listen to the message you want to convey.
My heart and my daughters heart has been a mess since Covid I don’t know what to do anymore
Great
My friend Sal has been living with CHF and hypertension for about 10 years. She went to see her cardiologist a few days ago and was told that she is not high risk for Covid-19 because her EF is 45. She's totally confused, because she thought all CHF patients were at high risk. Is there an explanation to that?
Hi Ben, we suggest having your friend reach out to her doctor for clarity on this.
@@JohnsHopkinsMedicine I will let her know. Thanks.
@@digitaltrends2113 Lay off the Vodka, bro.
Ef max is usually around 60% so she's only 15% away from "perfect function" I'm at 33% ejection fraction and my doc said I was high risk and im only 32. I'm confused about all this covid crap one source says one thing and another source completly different! Stay safe!
Hey Johns Hopkins members, I just want your opinion for this (we are already treating this person with medics at home). At what oxygenation percentage should we take a near 50's (47 to be exact) man who has hypertension to the hospital?
How is he?
@@ss-jj8gr Good
@@SP-pq9dq how you treat the person? Home or hospital care?
What type of medicine did you give?
@@ss-jj8gr I mean, we just got him medics. Thankfully he never got worse to the point of needing to go to the hospital.
Why are so many young athletes having heart problems after getting vaccinated there has been overwhelming reports of heart attacks in 30s and 40s as well what is going on?
My mom might have COVID can she die from COVID if she has an enlarged heart please tell me
if you have concerns, we suggest speaking to your mother's doctor about this.

Can someone give me her email address so I can ask some questions about my condition? I've had open heart surgeries since I was 3 im now 32 and have had 7 total.
Hi Tyler, If you would like to make an apt with Dr. Michos, you can reach her here: www.hopkinsmedicine.org/profiles/details/erin-michos
@@JohnsHopkinsMedicine thanks!
I have CHD and AS. I take a lot of meds including aspirin and Enbrel injections. I was told years ago that while Enbrel is great for Arthritis it suppresses your immune system.
So obviously if I contracted covid 19 I would have to stop
Question is should I stop now just in case?
I also have a stent implant.
Thank you for video.
Hi, we suggest speaking to a healthcare provider about this.
Johns Hopkins Medicine
thank you
I find it very hard to breathe when it’s hot humid outside.... sad.... Shortness of breath, fatigue sweaty lightheadedness I don’t like this at all yeah she hasn’t been to the hospital for two days straight this way I can stay until my nuclear stress test when it’s availableor go home how I’m going home but maybe we should’ve stayed at the hospital, crud

It definitely doesn’t sound like the flu, as people continue to downplay this disease.
Cardiovascular disease is simply low grade scurvy of the heart.
Hydroxychloroquine+zinc is said to be working exceptionally well.
