Silverdale School, Sheffield

Portakabin delivers a three storey extension to existing secondary school building at Silverdale School in Sheffield on behalf of Chorus Education Trust.
Alongside a bespoke terrace area, the Trust required dedicated classrooms and additional areas for children to relax outside of lessons, with cladding, bricks and rendering to seamlessly match their current building.
Portakabin was able to deliver a solution quickly for a challenging programme, without disrupting learning or regular school activity. Spread across three storeys, dedicated classrooms with amenities such as a kiln and an IT suite were installed along with a platform lift.
