Saly is having a great time showing off her new baby outside. You can tell she's very proud and happy. She's certainly showing off with that tail up flagging and arching her neck and prancing. Her baby, Thekla, picks up on mom's confidence and gets brave enough to do a little victory lap herself. How cute is that! She's got some real spirit and independence in her. Teije Rein is certainly a "momma's boy" already. Reintje is so careful and thoughtful of her baby. You can just see her endless patience. What wonderful mares and foals.

Loved seeing the foals running around the arena. Both kicking up their back legs. Both mothers are so proud of their little ones. They are a delight.
I fell in love with Thekla from the start! She has such an independent spirit and took her very first steps so soon after her birth. Her long legs, dainty little trot and zesty mini kicks make me laugh! Teije Rein has a beautiful canter and loves being close to his mem. He's a darling, too.

I found this channel last year and have enjoyed many relaxing hours watching these beautiful horses. I wasn’t even a horse person! Friesians are the most beautiful animals, and they seem like a really nice breed too. Thanks for the wonderful videos and for gently educating us about the horses!
Saly and Thekla are both gorgeous. I mean absolutely beautiful. Even as a baby Thekla’s front legs prance. And Saly is just lovely from every angle. Reintja has always been a beauty. And little Tieje Rein is just adorable. Friesians are an amazing breed and I could watch them all day!

I think Saly wants to go to the pasture. Thekla is happy with the arena. Precious little Thekla will learn soon enough why Saly prefers the pasture. Reinje’s Teige Rein is a shy momma’s boy. So sweet. Something about him pulls at the heart strings.
Saly absolutely looks amazing she's perfect, it's true you would never know she just had a foal, they are absolutely Majestic and really wonderful keepers I can't get over how good she looks

Three-day-old foal has legs up to her ears and demonstrates she knows how to use them. Thekla is full of spirit. Wonderful shots.
Teije Rein seems more cautious but equally wonderful shots. It's amazing that their personalities are so apparently different even at this age.
Reintje and Saly both looked pleased to be outside for a while. Must be a nice change for them.

Very interesting to see how Saly cuts off Thekla's path to keep her from hurting herself. In the several years I've been watching foals start out at Stal G, I don't think I've ever seen one kick up their heels so much on their first day outside. Thekla is special!
And TR is also very handsome and sweet, and well attached to Reintje. Not a zoomer, at least not yet.

Thekla is one gorgeous little pocket rocket with those long legs she’s as beautiful as her mother her little whinny is just precious. Saly has been a favorite of mine from the beginning her babies captivate me every year all foals are special but there’s just something about Saly and her girls that has me hooked. Teije Rein is quite the running man as well sticking to Reintje’s side thank you for making us all smile Yvonne your videos are so important to so many.❤️❤️

New life is so precious and when you look at Thekla and Teije Rein you can't help notice the innocence. Saly and Reintje are wonderful mothers but I can't help thinking of Uniek when I see them. Uniek was robbed of her motherhood twice, Rising Star was the healing factor last year but there is no foster this time and it sucks. Thank you for sharing. 🙂❤️

I'm fascinated by their tails. Such short bobs that grow to flowing exquisite tails. Risey's tail is still short compared to his friends
Their tails are gorgeous! Risey is a bit younger, so shorter. Maybe a breed difference too. Friesians sure have good hair!

Thekla had such beautiful long legs. A joy to watch her trot and canter. Saly is looking marvellous and no you wouldn't think she'd just had a foal. Watching Reintje and Teije Rein together was like watching her with Mine Teije. There's no doubt TR will be as good as his big brother. I can't wait to see them in the meadow together.😆😆

From here i can't see the diference between the two foals, the only diference i can see is that teije rein stays more close to his mom. And thekla almost fell in the hay😂 but lucky that it did'nt go wrong 💞👍

I’m glad you mentioned the lengths of the foals’ backs. Thekla has such long legs and short length of back and I was wondering how she will fill out.
It’s neat to see the difference in personalities of the mares and foals individually and with each other.
I agree with Yvonne, I prefer the longer back in TR. Good thing too bc he’s named after your boys! Not that he would be rejected otherwise. Just a good thing to start with. They are both cute and so sweet.
As y’all brought one of the pairs out (can’t recall which it was) I thought how amazing that RS came to be Uniek’s. Especially since no one came along this time. I guess that’s good news for mares somewhere. But how blessed we are that we can see the orphaned RS as he was taken in, loved and is growing up!

Funny how Teije Rein stays glued to his mem, and pretty Thekla is a bit more confident. Saly was looking very good and in great spirit. Reintje was also looking great. I remember when RS was a foal at first Uniek would be so protective even possessive of Risey, and he would stay so close to her. Now he is a very handsome young lad.
Wishing Yvonne all the best in her recovery. So thankful that she has returned to her family and those she holds dear.
