CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Mickey (Timothy Olyphant) reveals his deranged master plan to Sidney (Neve Campbell), as well as his partner in crime...
FILM DESCRIPTION:
A year after the monstrous success of 1996's neo-slasher flick Scream, director Wes Craven and screenwriter Kevin Williamson reunited for this follow-up. Since viewers last saw the characters, nosy newswoman Gale Weathers has written a sleazy best-selling book based on the events of the first film, a book that has been adapted into a Hollywood film called Stab, starring Tori Spelling as Sydney Prescott. The real Sydney (Neve Campbell) has since gone away to college in Cincinnati in hopes of leaving the horrific events of her past behind her. Unfortunately, at a showing of Stab, two college students are murdered in a fashion that is reminiscent of the slayings that took place back in Woodsboro. Suddenly, Sydney, her pal Randy (Jamie Kennedy), and dopy deputy Dewey (David Arquette) find themselves once again pursued by a ruthless masked killer. Among the other potential killers and victims are Sarah Michelle Gellar, Laurie Metcalf, and Liev Schreiber.

"you're a psychotic" "yeah, well, ssshhh that'll be our little secret."
That’s why Mickey is an underrated killer
Timothy Olyphant is such Perfection! He is such an underrated Actor!!
🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣
Yeah, well.. The correct word is *psychopathic* 🙄
Even tho it literally wouldn’t just be their little secret since he planned on getting caught.
You have to love Timothy Olyphant's over-the-top performance in this scene, it's perfect.
He was pretty good, considering it was one of his first movie credits.
Mrs Loomis did a hell of a job carrying the ending on home. Laurie Metcalf was terrifying!
Yup, he's amazing here. Considering he was quite new to the acting scene here, he did a blend of subtle charismatic mischievousness and outright bat crazy
He sounds like Christan Slater!
Lol no he’s trying too hard
Tim Olyphant totally nailed this scene. This was really impressive considering how this was only his 3rd movie in Hollywood.
Olyphant rocks. Was an instant fan after this and Go.
What were the first 2?
It’s crazy how the dude was like almost 40
WolfThornn Holtzklau Definitely! I became a fan of him because of this movie.
Some actors are just great at what they do. Aaron Paul never even took an acting class but he was perfect in Breaking Bad.
0:57 is my favorite line tbh. The way she delivers it, in a whisper omg. Iconic
I was thinking the same thing
Best final girl line in cinema history
man i thought it was “ur a psychotic”
You can tell that Timothy Olyphant was having a lot of fun playing this role
albino shamrock Timothy is such an underrated actor! He played the role better than Billy (Skeet Ulrich) and Stu (Matthew Lillard) in the first movie. I love both Skeet and Matthew but Timothy did an Amazing job in this movie!
Yep, and that part in the canteen with the singing... he was having a ball.
i loved him in GO...good film
@@JadeCordova Omg , I don’t even remember that scene, it’s been so long since I’ve seen this movie! Lol
@@kimmyfreak200 Never seen that movie?
I love how she was more surprised that Billy's mother was the killer than she was thinking it was Gale.
I mean obviously.. would you be surprised if the killer was someone you have beef with? Or would you be more surprised if it was your ex's mother? Think about that
@@adrianaguayo1540 that’s why he said he loved it
Damn, what if Stu and Mickey teamed up, double the crazy!
ikr
jim carrey as 2 seriel killers
It would have been a neat team up, especially with how in Scream 3, a twist was going to reveal that Stu was the killer and had escaped from prison after surviving the end of the first one.
Pur3Argonian what about Billy and his mom?
SirChubbyBunny what? Was that the original plan for the movie?
Mickey was awesome. I thought he was funny and insane. But not as insane as stu. That guy was out of his mind.
+Steven Morris
Stu is like "American Psycho" Norman Bates crazy.
Mickey is Jack from "The Shining" crazy.
True
+Blast22
Norman Bates is from "Psycho (1960)", not "American Psycho (2000)".
Garet McKenna I know the difference. I meant Patrick Bateman. Stu is like Patrick Bateman from American Psycho.
Blast22 Okay.
Mickey is an interesting concept of character in the meta element of Scream, seeing that his plan was not just murder everyone and get away with this as a surviving victim, but rather intentially get caught to blame horror movies for his actions, this is the movie mocking the stupid critic people that put these franchises as responsible for atrocitys in real life, like the maniacs really become insane after watching a scary movie and not because they are psychotic.
The Scream franchise predicts its controversies and has the quick answers to this, one of the reasons why i love so much ❤️
Yeah
It's so meta, it's hilarious
@@carefulicarus7393 , self reflection
@@carefulicarus7393 what this comment says is true
This dude was alr crazy. He was a serial killer before this too
I wouldn't say all the critics of horror movies are stupid. There was a study behind it, I show it later.
Billy: "Now Sid, don't go and blame the movies!
Mickey: "I'm gonna blame the movies!"
Roman: "I'm gunna make the movie."

"I fucking killed him" best line in the movie
Sidney is such a fighter
David Rawson That's what makes her one of the best horror heroines.
David Rawson She'd have to be to survive 7 killers across 4 movies.
Hell yeah! 3 of the killers actually had a good chance to kill her.
dordonake Roman and Jill is the closest to killing her. If Roman had just shot her in the head she would have died and if Jill stab Sidney several times she would have died
Mear Keel If Billy had simply shot her after he shot Randy, It would've been final victory for him, Stu, and Roman.
I love the way Sidney whispered “You’re a psychotic.” 00:33 It was kind of cute.
She removed her necklace with one hand and no struggle. She’s the GOAT… I’m gonna miss her in scream 6 😢😢😢😢
Another reason why I'm not watching anymore Scream movies. This is supposed to be Sid's journey
@@LukeLovesRose Her journey been over
@@irvinmyles3286 Right? It stopped being entirely about her in Scream 4
@@Mimsadoodle Yep , They should have a new lead instead of her
@@irvinmyles3286 The new lead is Sam/Tara now, it’s hard to tell with Sam because she might become the villain
Sidney: "Yeah? Well, you're forgetting one thing about Billy Loomis..."
Mickey: "What's that?"
Sidney: "...I fucking killed him."
My favorite movie line of all time. The delivery is so fucking perfect.
JasonEIIisBextor Couldn't agree more!
And I love the "piece of shit!" encore LOL
JasonEIIisBextor Same. It’s perfect.
JasonEIIisBextor YES. Sidney's my favorite horror movie heroine, she's a bamf! she always fucks Ghostface up in the movies lol
JasonEIIisBextor ikr!
Timothy Olyphant is Incredible. This scene turned me into an instant fan of his and I was like 8 years old lol followed his career ever since. Anyone who hasn’t seen him in Justified, go watch it!
i loved him in GO...good film
How on earth did your parents let you watch scream when you were 8 ?

Timothy Olyphant did really good on this movie...pretty shocked on his first performance

PhantosTheHedgehog
Yeah, I love this whole scene even after the other killer reveal, good ' surprise twist' indeed!
The Linda Hamilton reference from Terminator was brilliant and that necklace became a pretty useful weapon, but I wonder how many takes it took to get the eye slashing
right. I don't doubt that the cast and crew had loads of
fun with this franchise either!
RIP Wes Craven, you are missed by many fans but your spirit lives on thru your media work!
Amazing scene
She said billy
I love the craziness of Mickey and Mrs Loomis. Laurie Metcalf and Timothy Olyphany really nailed those characters.
Metcalf was great in this.
True talent.
I don't understand why the bew Scream movies are literally an exact copy in order with respect to one and two with almost zero suspense and mystery.
I love how when she said Gale it was like she wasn't suprised but when Mrs Newman A.K.A Billy's mom walked in she sounded suprised and confused
Micky reminds me of Stu and Billy if they were combined into one person.
Love how this parallels Screams' "Movies don't make killers" line.
*create serial Killers, yu dumbass. Don't use quotes if it isn't an exact quote. That's what quotation marks are for!
@@MrParkerman6 Bro CHILL! It was a little mistake lol.
Got to love how Sid just so casually reminds Mickey that she killed Billy
Timothy Olyphant (Mickey) Nailed This Scene!
Mickey was the freakin Tarantino Film student and years Later Timothy Oliphant was in a Tarantino film: Once Upon a time in Hollywood
Timothy olyphant is brilliant.
Definitely, attractive too. I believe that actors who do different types of roles are good at their job: Villain (this movie), a hero (Hitman 2007) and a comedy movie role (The girl next door). It's better to do that than to be type-cast
@@KT926 comedy-wise he's great in Santa Clarita Diet. He carries the entire show imo
@@yds2m Also Drew Barrymore.
@@augustrosepriv892. they were both great. Sad they discontinued the show but that's Netflix for ya
I have only now noticed how Sidney actually takes off her necklace it's brilliant 0:29 - 0:44
Timothy Olyphant is so underrated
"The kind of guy you bring home to mommy, IF you had a mom", you missed it😂
"You're forgetting one thing about billy Loomis, I fucking killed him"
Love that part
The original killers were Derek Feldman (Sidney's boyfriend) and Hallie McDaniel (Sidney's friend) along with Cotton Weary: Mickey gets shot, Hallie and Derek are secret lovers and Cotton stabs Gale to death and Sidney and Cotton fight for the knife. But due to the script being leaked online, the killer was changed to Mickey.
Shit! Glad that never happened. Think Mickey made an awesome killer and Gale dying would have been awful.
+GhostFace1301 thank god had it not been changed then Hallie would have been the first black female ghostface and the second female ghostface. Instead Hallie gets killed in front of Sidney in the streets. In the original script Mickey was tied up shirtless in boxers and Sidney unties him only to be stabbed by both Derek and Hallie.
Mickey gets stabbed? It's a good thing Derek wasn't the killer. Would have been too much like the first. Was this script leaked before they filmed anything?
+GhostFace1301 the script was leaked on the Internet and Kevin Williamson had to rewrite the script, and when production resumed it was closed set. I didn't know until I looked it up, thank god it was changed and Joel the cameraman gets a larger role in the script and he gets killed. I'm so glad that never happened.
Yeah I liked him.
All that craziness on Roseanne finally sent Jackie over the edge.
This was released seven months after the series finale of “Roseanne,” so perfect timing!
@Zachary Pinkosky Friends was still on, 'cause Gale is Monica.
I loved the way she said "Your a phsycotic"
shhhh that will be our little secret
Love Sidney's reaction when gale shows up, it's like ' i knew it..!'
I love that short little fight scene, so amazingly done. Neve is just brilliant so cool that she did her own stunts too
Probably the most horrifying killer out of the whole bunch, He didn’t want to frame anyone or achieve some level of fame, he wanted the whole world to see him as a murderer…That’s a man that has nothing to lose.
It's probably the best part of the film. It's a well acted scene, never forgot Olyphant's name after this.
Imagine mickey and stu working together as ghostface, O_O......SHIT JUST GOT REAL
Stu should've been in another movie. The guy was still breathing after being electrocuted and was left on that note. Billy was truly dead being shot in the head, but they fucked their opportunity with Stu returning as ghost face. Maybe if they have a 5th movie they will finally have the one killer that returned for a sequel. O_O
lol that would be awesome. They would make a great team.
Venting Show I can see why people like Billy more. He had more spotlight as a killer and played it well, but I thought Stu was pretty cool too. They worked well as a team.
Jordan Shoulders I guess so. Stu was kind of a tool, Billy was pulling all the strings really.
im gay
Hearing Mickey mention Dershowitz, Corcoran, and Bob Dole makes me so nostalgic for the 90s.
1:37 He sounds like Stu
Michael Meyers watching Sidney fight. "I'm not even gonna try this girl"
Nah I doubt it, Michael Myers strong as 💩 & he not afraid to go toe to toe with anybody but that will be an entertaining feud no cap 😂 Micheal Myers & Sidney are both ruthless in their own way I hope they make some type of collab.
@@deontaeb. I don't think Sidney rivals Jaime Lee Curtis's character though. That one's a tank, considering she threw it down with a 6'7 immortal guy who never loses balance while following someone lol
RIP Sidney :’(

0:51 ONE OF THE BEST SCREAM MOVIE LINES!
I’m here after scream 2022. When Sidney said to Amber “let me guess the movies made you do it”. Referencing to Mickey
When you think about it Mickey was actually the psychotic disturbing ghostface killer ever
He was even more evil than billy and stue
Mickey was a good Scream villain he was funny and evil at the same time.
Neve Campbell is a great actress and she rules
"Billy's Mother!"
Every time I see this part I think of all the victims that were killed off and see how psychotic and sick in the head Mickey was. You can see he didn’t have any remorse for whom he killed and whom it might have affected. When Sidney and Mickey were talking in the hospital you could see Mickey wasn’t really upset and was pretending. Which Is a dead giveaway that he is one of the killers. Did anyone else notice that during the hospital scene, when they first watched the film?
I did. The dude definitely gave me creepy weirdo vibes. Just his body language alone gives it away…
everyone has thinking about him before he was the killer,i mean he hates the Ewoks🤣
0:50 Best damn line in a horror movie.

I love how she called him a piece of shit when she kicked the gun away from him lol
0:33 love that part
I completely forgot about Olyphant playing Mickey. I watched the movie when it came out, and I don't think I saw him again until Girl Next Door, where he was awesome. Most everything he's done since then has been awesome.
I love the part when she says that she killed Billy 😂😂😂❤️
Even though Gale technically killed him first.

Gale: What?
Mickey: Billy's mother. Surprise twist huh? Didn't see it coming did ya?
Gale: It can't be. I've seen pictures of you.
Sidney: This is 60 pounds and a whole lot of work later.
Mrs Loomis: It's called a makeover. You should try it. Look a little tired yourself there Gale.
Gale: So you two are in this together?
Mickey: Yeah well. Had to have financing. Tuition's expensive. Deb there. My backer. We met on the internet, psycho website, classified.
Mrs Loomis: There's only an estimated 97 active serial killers in the country today so Mickey here was quite a find. Definitely one on the way up. All he needed was a little guidance and nurturing.
Sidney: As only a mother can do.
Mickey: Told ya it was gonna work. Wait til the trial. It is gonna rock.
Mrs Loomis: Oh Mickey there's not gonna be a trial.
Mrs Loomis shoots Mickey 3 times but before he falls to the floor he shoots Gale who falls off the stage.
Mrs Loomis: 2 birds 1 stone.
I read this in their voices.
@DVJFan the video cut out before this part, idiot.
And then what ?
I've seen a few Timothy Olyphant movies, but this character seems the most different than all the others. It's amazing to watch this, and then go back to my Deadwood DVDs and watch him as the semi-restrained Bullock.

Samson 92 funny because it has a higher rating than the third... every scream fans ultimate ranking is 1,2,4&3.
I have no idea how many times ive rewatched this scene in total. When this movie first came out, i fell in love with this. And now when saw 2022 came out, i rewatched all movies from 1st to 4th. Why does Sidney repeatedly try to run while a gun is pointed at her
