In an age where everyone's naming their kids with names deemed as unique, fashionable or after celebrities of this day and age..ALHAMDULILLAH..ALLAH(SWT) blessed me with 2 beautiful sons and gave me the thowfeeq to name one of them Thalha and the other; Zubair. Named after 2 of the greatest Sahaba to ever walk the face of this earth and I pray to Allah(SWT) that he guides them and us as he guided them..AMEEN! ❤

Brother, we refer to the Prophet (sws) as the Prophet or the Messenger of Allah. Not by his first name only. All of the sahabah called him Rasulullah.

Whenever I hear about the time of chaos, the time of fitnah that drove Hazrat Usman to his death and caused so many conflicts b/w sahabas. I feel torn and helpless. May Allah save our hearts and lives from such chaos.
It's best to add Radiyallahu Anhu, which is a dua than to give an honorific title if you have to choose between the two.

I have just finished listening to this for the 3rd time in a row and I feel, there is still so much to learn from the character of Huzrat Zubayr (ra). Truly a inspiring man.
What a hero! , I can't imagine what this fitna was . How it lead to murders of such wonderful sahabas. And Subhanallah prophet Muhammed saw had prophesiced about his death and also given the bad news of hell to his murderer. I just so feel so sad. So sad for the Muslim ummah who are not on sirat ul mustaqeem. Let's just make this dua which I learned through sheikh omar " ya muqallibal quloob Sabbit qalbi Ala deenik"

Jazak Allah Khair for this series and this video. So informative and I love the way you piece all the different stories of the sahabah and tabieen together to form a bigger picture narration. Please don't stop this effort as this is history we as Muslims need to know in depth. Sadly in schools this is not taught or taught at a very basic level. So this is definately an amazing collection of historic stories which will go a long way in educating the new generations of Muslims inshallah. May Allah reward you and your team greatly and gather us all together in Firdaus Ameen ❤️

I couldn’t recall the name but there were a sahabi, he heard that kafirun saw tall men which they cannot penetrate during Bedr. And then this sahabi was a slave a known kafirun and he said tall men must be the angels. Zubeyr ra reminded me of this event. I need to go back to lecture and find that sahabi ra.

If it was zubair then give us the refrence because on google, every site named Ali as killer of talha ibn abi talha.

If both zubayr and his murderer died, who narrated the murder?
the murderer came to the war camp, he probably met his friends and other soldiers on the way and told them the story and boasted before them as Zubayr was a famous warrior, before going to Ali's camp. apart from that it is not obvious that he directly committed suicide, he may hv committed suicide after some time and told some people
