The Chick fil a’s I go to have grilled chicken nuggets and sandwiches that are dripping with juice and taste really good. But I think it depends on what you get. I think their cool wraps are their take on premade cold wraps you buy from a convenience store or something. Like those wraps that are in the fridge. That’s why they don’t taste good on their own…basically an undressed salad in a tortilla, which is why they give you sauce. It’s better to just get their hot sandwiches or nuggets.
Now I love chicken soup as my grandmother used to make it at least twice a month in the cooler seasons and we lived with them for several years while searching for a new house. I can't have it without thinking back to me and her sitting in the kitchen chopping veg and making those thick chewy home made noodles. It's my go to soup. I can make hers to a T. But over the years I've developed my own version of chicken soup. My grandkiddos or my kids will call and say. Mommy/ grammy. I'm sick I need soup and you know I have the stock/broth premade in the freezer. I just need to whip up a batch of thick egg noodles or even potato gnocchi to drop in. But I also love all soups (well not lime a beans 🤮) I make everything from olive gardens soups family loves the creamy chicken gnocchi for sure. To cheesy broccoli to creamy turkey with mushrooms and wild rice. My favorite for upset tummy or sore throat is either my chicken stock or turkey stock and drop about 6 to 8 eggs in for egg drop soup a few good drizzles of toasted sesameoil and chopped scallions(chives or green onions. What ever I grab from garden) It absolutely makes it down sore throat easy. Hubbys favorite is black bean chili made with venison or beef roast not ground meat. If my health wasn't so sucky I'd open a cup of soup restaurant lol no dine in just drive up. 2 sizes 16oz cup or 32oz container. It’s better to just stick with their hot menu items, imo. Or buy a salad lol.
They used to allow us to substitute the cold grilled filet for the fried nuggets for the cool wrap at my location it was soooooooooooooooooooooo goooooddd
I think it’s the pita bread that messing things up. I only had the first wrap a year and that bread is horrible. I haven’t been in a while, but maybe they should offer other options for the pita wrap besides that dense flaxseed wrap.
Gotta salt those tomatoes! My husband has to go on a diet so I’ve been packing him a little salad for his lunch and he says they’re the best and it’s all because you said to put salt on the tomatoes…and I told him to put the lid on and shake that shiii…
I think you would like their chicken tortilla soup better. Also, their wraps aren’t great because that wrap product is awful, too thick. I wish they had a thinner flour one. The second wrap was just basically the Cobb Salad with chicken.
I have never liked Chick-fil-A, it’s too over hyped, but I think it’s bland as hell. Had a friend rave about it, tried out their chicken sandwich and honestly Wendy’s is a 1000 times better
