- After a huge week at Crete Lakes France, I spent a further week at Le Val Dore, plenty of action with monster carp including 40's, 30's and the odd 20 and the resident huge cat tried to make an appearance too. Triple takes, using mainline baits and the toslon xboat

What an enjoyable video and excellent session...can i respectfully make an observation though....im definitely no camera expert but i think you get better results with the sun in your face...stops you being a silhouette.... like i say im no expert at all...and i stand to be corrected for sure....please take this as constructive comment and not "drunken abuse" of a bitter knob end....🙄... thanks for the inspiration and excellent video...
Hi Rob, duly noted, thanks for the observation but like l mentioned, that particular swim was so steep l had no option but to video at a level ground for fish safety… the bank was ridiculously steep… glad you enjoyed the video and please feel free to like n subscribe it really helps and also you can view my latest trip to Bay Lakes along with numerous vids at Crete lakes France… by far the most popular was the video where l had numerous triple takes… enjoy bud

Cracking video mate as always. Was looking at Valdore myself. I see there are not many single pegs though. I see peg 12 is a double can you fish these as a single angler ?

Hi Richard, we’re due out last week in March lake 2. We was told lake is better using predominantly fishmeal boilies what you think of this? Plus any tips on rigs and colours would be a help? Many thanks and a great video 👍🏻
Hi bud, only ever used cell with hemp mixed in… that worked fine for me…. Pink hook baits definitely worked for me as well, l soaked mine in almond goo…. This fish on lake 2 follow the wind as well… hope that helps mate please like and subscribe and good luck it’s great lake

How many wraps is it too the island. I’m in this swim Easter weekend.
Hi Lee, aim for middle peak in tree line ,edge of gravel into silt ... 19 3/4 wraps … Note: that was the original gravel patch wraps.. 2 nd time l fished it the patch was a lot smaller

@@TackleJunki hya mate am on valdore lake 2 in August with my son you said 19 wraps is that with 12ft or 13ft rods thanks enjoyed your video trying to get as much info as it will be our first trip abroad 👍

@@warrenselby2139 hi warren yes the gravel spot did produce the most action and the Bay Area had a couple out however there is a big cat that patrols that spot and there a huge snag towards the bank so fish it with that in mind
