To be fair I think this is mostly just you being unfairly skilled. Still probably going for CGR or juggernaut for Korg over abs just because there’s no way I’m light intercepting like this at such a perfect rate of execution.
I think it would be better in matches like this where MD doesn’t come into play to be in Uru form and just spam those sp1 as soon as you get them. It takes too long to get to that sp2 and you are taking too much damage on block to pause your form

MSD was holding a lot of block to get openings for pausing his form because if the form runs out Carl’s damage drops down immensely. When you use your sp1 you automatically refresh Uru form and don’t need to worry so much about getting that many openings. If play right, the fight can be a lot faster in Uru form in this meta
The pause lasts quite a while, man. I wouldn't worry about refreshing it as much as you did. You can build to that sp2 much faster and cut a good 10 to even 15 seconds off

Magma form is better against korg because he takes more damage from energy damage and thorns don’t work against energy attacks.
