    When I saw the title, I thought BYD, the automobile giant from China, got into the running shoes game.

    Heel-strikers delight. If they heavily discount this one… especially on that colorway, I'll probably pick it up.🔥

    I think it is because of your running mechanics, I think it is a fantastic shoe for heavier runners who are heel runners, there is something for everyone, however you have to look at the adistar 3

    Can you review the Adistar 3 as well. It's out here in Australia atm and I was thinking about getting it after the SL 2 was too small for me in my normal size so I gave it away.
    Was considering the adistar 3 or ghost max or ghost max 2 hopefully out soon. Otherwise I can get SL 2 again probably going up a full size, but favorite color is sold out...

    Still will pick it up when it drops in the US and let you know. Meta endurance was pretty high on this shoe so will also wait for some more reviews too

    In contrast Supernova Prima is pretty decent. I would take that over this one!

    I will test the regular Adistar 3 next week. I believe that, with that midsole geometry the shoe needs some decent flexibility in order for it to work with my foot strike.
    I hope the fit and ride is good enough to replace my Triumph 20 that is worn out.

      I have a couple runs in the standard Adistar 3. I was pleasantly surprised. It does run a bit on the warm side, though.

      I have the adistar 1 and worked very well for me 1500 kms.

      1500 kms in the adistar 1 is huge and rhe midsole is live yet!

    Heavier heel striking runners exclusive?

    Maybe a good shoe for heel strikers then Chris if you're saying it felt very biased in that area?

    I don’t feel it’s heel-heavy, but it’s still feel it’s a miss. The shoe tires me out on longer runs.

  • @mrgroundhog9790
    @mrgroundhog9790 Před měsícem +2

    The plate only runs around the edge of the midsole (like a donut), it’s not really underfoot.
    I can’t recall the source, another CZcams video had the shoe all broken down etc

    It's a bit unfair to compare them with a supercomp shoe from New Balance. That's what the Adios Pro or Prime X is for. And how can you identify heel problems if you don't even run on your heels and let it roll? All I see is forefoot running. Why don't you let it roll properly? Looks to me like they've tried a similar experiment to Asics with the Kinsei Blast, where two different soles were sausaged together. I don't really know where they're going with the BYD. I would rather go for the Ultraboost.
