I love when you show us the outfits and don't just talk about them! Also, I looked up the shapewear you had listed. My figure is very much like yours; I may be 1 size up from you. That shapewear doesn't roll down at the stomach?
My experience is the same...shapewear rolls. I have not tried enough different brands to know if this is just the way it is, but the couple, "light-weight" versions I have tried, both roll down.

Love this video! Please let’s chat about the clutch...do you carry it around all evening? Leave it on a table? I have a clutch that has a small gold chain inside and invariably switch it to a shoulder bag to allow my hands to be free. So confusing. Thoughts?
Good question! I usually leave it under the table in front of my chair so it is out of plain view. Not the most secure, but better than leaving it out.

Thank you for your comment. Bottom line, wear any fabric you are comfortable wearing. Fabric has come a long way and while silk is a very lovely, natural fabric (always amazing), other fabrics like viscose and acetate can be very lovely too. Wearing the right color and style dress, along with beautiful, comfortable shoes and accessories is key to pulling together a fabulous outfit and looking amazing.

I make my cocktail dresses “look expensive” by buying genuine silk ones.
Silk is a superb choice! I love it too. The point of this video is, we have options to look just as amazing with lesser priced dresses. It's more about making good choices about the color & style of the dress we choose, along with shoe choices, accessories, etc. A cocktail dress made of a premium fabric has the potential to look frumpy for the same reasons.
