I feel different now having beared witness to this statement

Just a heads up that you can't red elemental blast necropotence. You can do that with pyroblast as it doesn't require the target to be red on cast. Hardly seemed to matter at the end but figured I'd mention. Cool game, spikes 🌵

Great episode, despite being cEdh and being very fast love how you put the stack in order and resolve everything.

    awesome video as always 😊
the thumbnail with just Elliot over the spike feeders MLC logo is nice but seems kinda disjointed?
the one with all 4 players (even if some are small?) made more sense that it was a spike feeders gang game and not a webcam recap
    I hope that makes sense
Also this game could be called "the spikefeeders try tax evasion" ❤

Why didn't Eliot sac his two creatures to Viscera Seer at 17:19? Possibly two cards he could have put on bottom of his library and not drawn with the wheel.
Edit: What's the reason for not untapping Mana Vault with some of the 26 treasures?

I can't speak for #1, but for #2 it is mana-negative. A single mana can detemine if a win is possible, unless you know for certain you cannot win that turn you are better off not untapping and using the information from your draw.

Conflicted here. While I want to see Breya get the hat trick, I do also want to see greasefang go off because vehicles are cool and the build seems interesting.

I could be wrong but when Eliot brought parhellion out of the graveyard he couldn't have attacked with it yet. He would have to crew before combat, but the greasefang triggers at the beginning of combat. Otherwise great video, definitely enjoy watching the different interactions between the decks

Greasefang triggers in the beginning of combat step, then there's a round of priority before attackers are declared in the next step.

One does not simply cast cards he stole with oppo agent, because you usually exile combo pieces so you remove them from the game!

i was wondering if Jan had enough cards in his graveyard to mill everyone with the LOD+Brain Freeze loop, cuz it requires you to exile six cards each time. the math gets really tedious because of storm, but since each Brain Freeze doubles the storm count with its copies, and each doubled storm count is then multiplied by 3 cards, it grows crazy fast. he wouldn't even have to point any back at himself for more escape fodder, by the fourth brain freeze it'd be milling for more cards than there are in all the decks at the table

    • @davidchapman7350

copies created by the storm mechanic aren't cast, so they do not count towards another storm. so, if we're talking roughly 50 cards left, he'd be able to cast brain freeze 3 times for every 2 LED's cast. if we assume that everybody Alex and Jim had roughly 70 cards left (7 initial draw, 14 from 2 wheels, 4 because turn 4 plus fetches), and Eliot about 60 (Esper Sentinel putting in work), that'd be 200 cards that need to be milled. depending on how you order the casts, you can cast LED 4 times more to exile 12 (graveyard down to, I don't know, 30ish?) and then cast brain freeze 6 times (exiling another 18), you'd have 13 storm count, 14 storm count, 15 storm count respectively, milling (13+14+15+3) x 3 = 135 cards? sequencing isn't actually important at that point because he'd have it either way, but he might have to mill himself out first in which case having an Esper Sentinel on board might not be the best decision (since the others could force him to deck first by using zero mana interaction if available) - now all of the numbers are rough estimates, just FYI.
