  • Willie Daly, a third-generation matchmaker by profession, last of the traditional Irish 'matchmakers', matching lonely hearts, has been responsible for hundreds of successful matches over the years.
Willie devotes himself to his job all year, along with running a pub, B&B and stable near the hamlet of Ennistymon, about five miles south of Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, Ireland.
His daughter, Marie Daly, has put a new spin on the family profession by organizing horse treks for groups of singles along the coast and over the Burren. The vast area of exposed Limestone Pavement, internationally famous for it’s landscape and flora.
