actually, i had a weird experience once when i rode pirates of the caribbean. the ride broke down when my boat buggy entered the village scene. but when i blurted out "hello, George!" out of nowhere, the ride started working again. my parents eventually gave me weird looks, but the cast members thought it was some kind of miracle.

If I were to go to the ride in the future, Im not sure if I would try this if the ride broke down, like yeah i'd want to be nice to a friendly ghost, but at the same time i'd love to have an in-show exit of such a cool ride.

The ghosts in the windows of the haunted mansion is an effect that is very rare so when people see it they think it’s a real ghost.
Ghosts show up in the windows? Cool, i never knew that. Do you know if there’s a specific time or anything to see them? Or is it only at Disney world, not Disneyland?
@@caljones I just know that it happens in the Disney World Haunted Mansion. But the effect doesn’t work often so there isn’t really a specific time you can see it.
In DLP they used to use a projected lightning effect over the mansion at night, if it was particularly cloudy. Not sure why they stopped...

@@caljonesWhat is even creepier about the last Myth is that supposedly Disney told a Mother that She was not aloud to pour Her Son's ashes at The Park but She did it anyway. Now here comes the creepy part is that Someone claimed to see a little boy on the ride after They took a picture but there were no children anywhere on the ride that day and some People claim that You can here the boy crying out for His mother and sometimes laughing too and supposedly His Ghost can also be heard laughing on The Pirates of The Caribbean Ride.
My favorite part of the tower of terror ghost footage is how uninterested the maintenance guy is during his inspection. My guess is he has to ride it a lot for testing but he just doesn’t care about the drops at all 😂
And he’s like fighting his papers as they fly it has me rolliiinnngggg

honestly, a Disney ride would be the best place to be a ghost. Constantly surrounded by droves of families on the best days of their lives, being remembered and discussed fondly and even greeted daily by staff, getting free rides whenever you want... The afterlife can wait.

the whole “walt’s frozen head” thing is one of those theories that’s so farfetched and wild that like i’m PRETTY SURE it’s not true... but at the same time if it turned out to be real i wouldn’t be that surprised, you feel me?

I actually experienced George the ghost. While I was on the ride, I saw something in the corner of my eye in the fire scene. When I turned to look, nothing was there. And when I was leaving the scene a cold brush of air went down my back. When I turned around to see, I saw a floating ball of pure energy. I didn’t know what happened until this video.
It’s super spooky too because it was a week until Halloween

The myth about the bones on pirates is true! I asked one of the cast members, who had been there almost since the opening of pirates, said that they were real. (the ones that where in the video, like the headboard and the pieces)
At this point Disney should probably just build a cemetery outside the park for people to spread their family members ashes

I just came from disneyland
A bit late but the first time I went on that ride I had an extended breakdown and it took sat on the ride for an hour as it slowly inched forward. I repetitively got splashed by the cannons as a I waited.
My mom and great aunt wanted to sprinkle my great grandma’s ashes around the Tiki Room cuz it was her favorite attraction. I told them no cuz she would just get vacuumed up. While we were at the park, I came back to the group and heard my mom ask my aunt “did you do it?” and my aunt confirming that she did. So now my great grandma is in a vacuum.
EDIT: I should specify that they didn’t sprinkle her in the Tiki Room itself. The attraction was under refurbishment when we visited. They sprinkled the ashes in a flowerbed near the attraction.
i imagine they don't vacuum the flowerbeds so who knows, maybe your grandma's ashes sank into the soil

George used his mischievous on my mom and brother. The ride got stuck and they were under the stinky feet in the bridge. We had to wait there like an hour for a person to arrive and pull the boat away

Perfect timing because it’s almost Halloween 🎃
1:30 so I went on this ride a few days ago. When you drop down that hill, I expected to get soaked, cuz the seat was soaking already. When I didnt get wet I said "wow, hah, I didn't get wet, maybe this is just a myth." Spoke to soon. The ride kept getting stuck, and at the scene with the cannons, I was sitting on the other side of were they fire, and I got drenched, when no one else did. George was pissed at me

i love how most of the myths were debunked except for the one about real bones on Pirates. The exact opposite where it was not only confirmed, but also more real bones were revealed. Did not expect that

The real bones thing is 100% false. Like I said before it's a fun story, but in reality it is against federal law to purchase, sell, Etc human remains. Disney did not purchase human remains in the form of Bones from UCLA Medical Center I assure you of this this absolutely 100% did not happen
Quinta creations..I agree. It’s like no one allowed to throw their cremated ashes in the ocean. If you’re caught doing it, there’s a fine you have to pay. It’s for the public’s safety.

Great video! Many years ago I was on Haunted Mansion at DL. The person I was with and me both saw a child in the Doom Buggy we thought was empty before us jump out right at the ball room scene. It was super creepy.

The lights in the Haunted Mansion were made by imagineers and the reason they are random is because they don't always work and in the list of things to fix is so long that it is a low priority to fix.
The curtains opening up on their own is probably another kind of special effect! 😯🙂😁
I don't think there's any ghosts in any of the parks probably special effects, trick mirrors and a special projector, or the pepper's ghost effect. This comment is for you tpm vids. 🤨🙂

I felt and seen George and I said to my friend "look at the worker" and my friend said "what worker where?" and then I saw him disappear into thin air and then the ride stopped for half and hour and I said "wtf he just disappeared into thin air" and me and my friend felt hella cooled then we looked at each other and we were shocked so yeah

As a former cast member at WDW, some of us used to joke to about Walt Disney being frozen. The tunnel system under Magic Kingdom, There was always this one area that had security cameras and had clear signs that only authorized individuals could go into this area. When I was walking around with newer cast members, I would frequently point out that area and say something along the lines of "Oh that's where Walt Disney is frozen" when the other cast member would question why no-one was allowed in that area and why all the additional security. In truth, it was just an area where ride operations/maintenance was.

I’ve gone since all the rules have been put in place a few times, and the magic is 100% still there!! A few features are missing for safety so I recommend going back when everything is back to normal, but it’s still amazing!!!
Hey! I have a video idea! so I know that there are a lot of rides that are very special and important and everyone loves them, but you should make a video about the rides people forget! For example, the Muppets 3D show in Hollywood Studios, and so many more! I’d love to hear about some rides that bring back memories!
