- Northgard is one of my favorite games of all time. Being amongst the best of strategy games, it has a decent learning curve to it. If you are short on time, here is a quick starting guide on how to play Northgard in 5 minutes or less!

This is the only video I could find on ALL of youtube that gave me any sort of idea of how the gameplay works on Northgard. Honestly youtubers get so caught up in dumbass talking points these days, they forget to even put content in.

Not a fan of rts games but this one looks special. I like the almost cartoonish graphics and the powerful and vibrant colors.

Nice video dude. Quick question though, where does it state that placement of woodcutting lodge on tile determines wood production ?
He didnt clarify it enough imho. You get 10% more wood if your lodge is placed on a forest tile. If you click the big tree in the middle, then it will be written in the tooltip.

Scouts roam but you can select them and direct them to a specifoc piece of land with left click I believe

2:00 in wiki it says woodcutter gives 4 wood, not dependend on wood density
game does not count if worker walk a lot to job or...?
I am playing Northgard since 2017. I've never noticed any difference in Wood Production on normal Tiles depending on position of trees. As far as i know the Trees are just Textures. They will be cut down and respawn. Only Forest Tiles gives Bonus of 10%.
I was surprised about his statement as well.
Great video. I know this game is very unique but it somehow reminds me of the 20 year old best strategy ever made: Z. Looks like these developers could do justice to Z if they got the licence.

How long is the duration of each match? I spent 20-30 minutes just reach 20 populations. The NPC I could fight on just wolves.

Probably bear clan because it's really well rounded and great for clearing areas early on in the match.

I bought this game yesterday and it's "tutorial" seems to assume that everyone has played an RTS before. I have not, so I had no idea what was going on. Since this was advertised as a good entry point into the genre, I'm not surprised it's a dying breed of game if it can't even provide a basic explanation as to what the hell things do or mean.

I was playing the campaing and in some level i have to beat a emo girl in economy, look very simple but then the food was decreasing like (-15) but i had the only to food sources working at max capacity, and i was like what You want me to do?, the Game is to restrictive, so much so that is anoying it takes the fun away from it, the cost of the territory expansions is TO HIGH, the Game could be a bomb if not because the restrictions makes you feel frustrated
Hey there! I played that exact mission today and here's a few tips : Use the marketplace to buy food to help survive blizzards and also anticipate and try stocking up beforehand.
In my run, I had 20 merchants and 9 sailors. I upgraded almost all buildings. Had 10 000 coins so I was spamming the purchase button and having feast after feast!
Such a good game exep i get 16-21 fps

This didnt teach me anything why i have 7 food production fully funtional and still negative food going through.

This game sucks. Takes forever to do anything. Spend 90% of your time just gathering resources maybe 10% using army. Really boring game.
