As some of the reactors said, these songs are reggaeton, which isn't really pop. Technically, this genre is closer to hip-hop. Now, I know why this confusion happened. Real Latin pop isn't that popular anymore and the idea here was to show them current sensations. By the way, Thalia and Reik's music was real pop until some years ago, so I recommend you to look their discographies up (my favorite songs are ARRASANDO and QUE VIDA LA MIA).

Hence, the languages that remained in Latin America were spanish, portuguese, french, and many many creole languages that were born from the mix of peoples that arrived here. Hispanic america is a term to refer only to those geographical regions where people speak spanish, and nothing more than the language precision.
But 1: Latin America is a much more broad concept that refers to the region in a cultural, social, and identity sense.
2: There's also portuguese reggaeton, and I believe you can make reggaeton music in whatever language you want. Just go and listen to the collabs that Drake, Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, etc etc have done
