Father Thank You for waking us up, and starting us on our way. Please continue to keep us safe In Your Strong, And Loving Arms where nothing can harm us.
Father please give us a real thirst for Your Word, and help us to share what we learn with those around us. Let us have a sense of urgency about what we are doing. I lift up to You Father every ministry that is preaching, and teaching The Truth Of Your Word, I pray Father that You will continue to bless them. I also pray for the ones that are out here twisting Your Word, and just outright lying on You. I pray that these so called ministries dry up at the root. I pray for those perpetrating these acts that they have a heart change, and repent for their transgressions.
Father Thank You for the wonderful reading of Your Word, and for the faithful reader. Please continue to bless him, his family/friends, and his ministry which has touched many lives. I pray this In The Mighty, And Powerful Name Of Jesus Amen.
BOOK ONE
Psalms 1-41
The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly
1 Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the [a]ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
And in His law he [b]meditates day and night.
3 He shall be like a tree
Planted by the [c]rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so,
But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

A couple of years ago I was witnessing to an atheist. We were going backwards and forwards with his questions and my answers by email. I wish I had remembered to tell him to read Job 38. Such a glorious description of who God is.. Thank you, brother.

I love this chapter through the end of Job, because it's all God speaking from 38-41, and 42 just tells what happened afterward.

I thought that today's reading was excellent. Exodus 20 the LORD GOD gives us the Law of the 10 Commandments, while Luke 23 tells us the story of the ONE who fulfilled the whole Law. Thank you, JESUS. 🙏

Hearing the first twenty chapters of Exodus reminds me of my childhood and learning chapter by chapter in Sunday School. It was a nice time, where we as children wanted to learn the Bible, were willing to stay between services to pray, and had a bit of a friendship with the teacher. Being I haven't seen her since 2004, I wonder how she is doing. Hearing Titus' name in 2 Corinthians reminds me of a series on the book of Titus my pastor did spread across eleven sermons.

Jesus was referencing an Old Testament prophecy which was fulfilled in 70 AD and was horrific. There was at least one case noted by historians of a woman resorting to cannibalism she murdered her infant son and ate him.
