Thank You for Your dedication! Greatly appreciated! :D
Thanks mate! :)
Always like your reviews. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Richard! :)
Excellent review Darren. You certainly weren’t holding back with the attempted destruction test. I’ve ordered a couple of sets so I’ll see how the go when they get here. Hope the elbow improves soon for you 👍🏻🎯
Thanks mate, lol yeah it's a proper test 🦶👍😜
Hello. As always, you are very fast with your reviews 👍 Thank you for that!
No problem! They dont call me fasty mcfast face for nothing! :P
The gap between the threads and the shaft, that you point out, is to accommodate the little o-rings that are used as washers. Stops the shaft from loosening somewhat!
Thanks for all your reviews 👍
Thanks! I dont know if that was the reason for the gap, the flights stay on without an O-ring anyway. As I mentioned I think the only reason Condor added it to the AXE system was to prevent the breaking when it hit the floor, it seemed to work though :)
My guess is that if the thread goes all the way to the natural breaking point, there is no material that can expand when the flight hits the ground sideways. The small gap allows for a small amount of stretch in the direction of the barrel axis, which is obviously enough to keep the shaft from breaking.
Nice review. Great detail as always.
Thanks Edward! :)
Love it just Love it. You have a new nick name now. Darren "The Stomper" Watson. Looking forward to seeing other tests on flights will you be doing it to walk on music? You are absolutely brilliant mate.
Err thats Sir Darren "The Stomper" Watson if you dont mind! LOL I need a good stomping song lol
I do like your safety slippers !
Cool! I tried to get green but they never had that colour :)
Nice review as always, from all the recent makes I’ve tried over the past few months I personally prefer the fusion as they seem to fly the best for me 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks! Well I always say its about finding what suits you best :)
Those flights are a FORCE to be reckoned with.
10:22 : The moment when someone tells Darren that he has to scarify his lawn immediately because otherwise it will lose its green colour ...
LOL! :)
What I can tell at first glance is that the angle at the tip of the flight is unusually acute, I estimate 70°. I have so far included 12 different large standard flight shapes in the VAX system - but none of them are anywhere near as acute at the top.
Yeah quite a sharp angle :)
As per the comments, all these moulded flights are great, because the allow a person to have massive variety; I personally love the K-Flex and Condors and can use the interchangeably.
Yeah its just finding what you like best, although its getting harder to choose between them as they are often so similar :)
Great review Darren, these have good stomp resistance if you don't miss lol😂 🎯 happy darting 🎯
Lol 🤣
Ordered a set of these in short size so looking forward to see how they go . That was a brutal test 😂😂
😀🦶🦶🦶🦶
Another flight system hahaha. But these are very strong. I like the ending of the video Darren it's something else
Lol 🦶👍
Nice one Darren mate
Thanks Mark! :)
@@DartsReviewChannel welcome mate 👍
Stomping on them was a little bit over the top but l don't see any durability problems with them at all . l do like the small K Flx stem but l would definitely buy the Force 90's in the No6 flight and use them as they look excellent value for money Nice test
As I wont be able to play enough with a dodgy elbow I think a good stomp was a good substitute lol I bet someone will still drop them on a carpet and say they broke though lol :)
@@DartsReviewChannel You can bank on that. Seen another review and the flight to shaft moulding was also picked up on but the tester stated he thought this would be rectified on the next batch we will have to see.
@@davidsmith2663 yeah they could do with refining it, it's very sharp on top
You r right mate its not looks like standart no.2 size. But i belive quality very good like all Mission products.
I dont think any of the brands seem to follow a set shape and size, always seems crazy its called standard really lol
Yeah, looks a bit too diamond shaped @@DartsReviewChannel
Hi Darren, been looking for your Yaoyeah steel tip points video to no avail. Was it pulled down or something?
Yeah I deleted it
I've had darts go in close to each other and that action made the traditional flight pop off on one dart. I wonder if it would have been a bounce out with one of these instead?
Impossible to say really, the other darts may have just moved to allow it to come through
You mentioned breaking at the thread. My K Flex broke at the thread on a bounce out. Not sure if otters have seen this
It's often where they can break but I think the little gap helps
I have already tried various systems. condor zero and axe. the target k flex and the bulls union. Still, I have the feeling that normal shaft and flights fly to the board more easily. what are your experiences with this? because I always return to the normal flight and shafts
I prefer all in one systems, Condor Axe is the ones I have used the most :)
Id love to think that in the quality control section of Mission HQ there's someone stamping on the flights. 😂
My foot is for hire 😜🦶👢
I currently have a set of force 90s, fusions and zero stress. I prefer the fusions. They seem to be the most consistent in terms of flight and landing in board.
Which is why I tell people it's about finding what suits best, are the Fusions durable for you?
@@DartsReviewChannel i used to use winmau furys and i did notice a few chips/nicks where the front of barrel was catching them. But now i use gabriel clemens gen 1s with the nano point and theyve not taken any further damage since. I play a couple of hours a day too.
Hey Darren,
Can you please tell wich barrels did you use there?
Greetings
Harrow's Predator as mentioned in video 😊
Thx again! I play kflex, but this system i want to test if i drive next time for my dartshop. But i need more colors 😂
What Barrel u use for Check the Systems? With the crosses grip?
Unicorn Ballista 😊👍
@@DartsReviewChannel thx
What barrel was you screwing the flights into at the start i have no idea what they was but liked to look of them. 👍🏻🎯
I think there unicorn ballista’s
Unicorn Ballista 😊
Did you try this method with the other brands too? 😂 great vid!
LOL the Stomp is new but I have thrown some on the floor before but usually after I have had some time testing them normally, which I cant do much of with my dodgy elbow :)
@Darts Review Channel Neil at Neil's darts had black ones of these and he had red coming through on the edges
red what? blood?
@@DartsReviewChannel no red coming through on the edge of the flights
@@rayphillips6060 no idea, I looked at it, not sure what it is
Damn, Mission is gonna send you some angry e-mails😂
LOL why, I just proved they were tough, need some refining on the moulding though :)
Hello, I just started Dart and I've been trying to play with my own efforts for about 4 months, I want to buy a good set and I like the MGV Exact and Aspire series. But I'm undecided about the weight, there are those who tell me to take a light 21g 22g. For those who say 23G would be more standard. What do you recommend the set 24G that I am currently using? I've been trying to experience it for a few months already. I used 24*25*26 darts and also had the chance to experience 23g. But the darts I use are more torpedo shaped. I didn't have the chance to try straight darts. I work alone and mostly watch pro players on the internet and try to create an ideal shot and grip for myself. But people around me think that trying so much weight will ruin the shot. And they think it would be beneficial to stay at a constant weight. I also tried the light dart sets of the people where I play, 22g seemed comfortable to me, 23g was comfortable. I want to have a good set or two. I liked MGV's Exact and Aspire darts and the grip felt nice to me. I didn't know if I should take 21.5g or 23g. I thought about buying the aspirated one in 22g. I need professional opinion. After all, it is not a cheap set that I will buy for my economic conditions
I started with all kinds of weights and shapes, I settled on 27g for a while, then 25g, then 24g and then stayed mostly on 23g ever since. Usually a heavier dart is more forgiving in flight but the thing is you need to start somewhere so why not start somewhere around the middle then you can go lighter or heavier as you feel the need. So 25g or 24g should be fine.
If it's going to be a while before your elbow heals, I wonder how fast you'd progress from zero to hero throwing southpaw?
I have thought about it but my left forearm muscle also has a weird injury that I am worried I might make worse 🙂
So many now….. down to personal choice ,shape and colour…….. nice they undercut target after their k flex price rise which the pricing of these shows that was just a profit margin increase
Yeah price wars in the moulded flight arena lol! :)
Hey Darren! Have you got a set of Mission darts to try them with? I simply can’t screw them properly into Mission Fittons or Nightfalls - but I can screw them into Red Dragons or Harrows. What do you think? Is this a fault?
I dont think they have the best moulding, I tried a set in 3 different sets of Mission darts just now, 2 sets were ok and the the third set it took me a few goes before I could get it to screw in right.
@@DartsReviewChannel- thanks for that Darren. I eventually put mine into a set of unicorns and left them for a few hours- then they screwed slightly reluctantly into my Mission Fittons. Annoying though!
@@adrianunderwood961 yeah they seem to be a bit different on the thread, not sure if its the way it starts or if its too thick or something, bit weird.
Darren I noticed you said you didn't really have time to test these so tell you what , how about you send them to me and I will throw them for a couple of weeks and let you know how I get on? And while you're at it why don't you throw in your target 975 darts, I will test them as well,, just trying to help 😅
LOL "high powa, ya can feel it alreet!" :P
Still on "lo power, I can't feel it all , alreet!!!" Damn Steve Hudson, Damn him alreet!!!
LOL!
Clear flights looks good but is there any better than green ? Dont think so lol 🎯
How about clear green?
@@DartsReviewChannel whenever is green its great . Cant beat green lol
Better match weighting than Condor AXE 😂
But the finishing on these looks cheap so I would still go for AXE😢
Special test today 🤣
I remember something...
Where are your Steeldart points?
Still buried in the garden?
Still there, getting out soon if the weather improves :)
Wow
Darren are you going to make it thru the PL in Dublin. You've got to be in dart shirt heaven tonight!
Longterm durability will be based on barrel profiles/styles.
Curious what bounce out statistics are for the various flt/stem setups.
People are learning green is the best 💚👕
Have you tried the cuesoul tero ak5?
I reviewed the Rost AK5 over 3 years ago :)
@@DartsReviewChannel yes just watched it cheers 👍
Yet another professional stiff stem review 🤣
I like a good stiff stem :P
Disappointed with these flights. I’m amateur and thrown with these about few hours and they are already teared. I don’t recommend.
Yeah a lot had similar, they dont seem as durable as others.
