The ONLY advantage of the original $250 item is that it disassembles and fits into a small bag, which is perfect for transporting, but your device is perfect for any studio.
joe bloe Hey, thanks for watching. I just taped them together with duct tape, stood on them and bent the ends by eye. It's not perfect but they're not so rigid that you can't make adjustments if needed.
