    It was very good,
just want to give an idea, instead of connecting the tablets in parallel and connect in series, and a tablet is 6w and another 8w and instead of being two windows back and be only one with the two tablets stay on top one of another (tablets) will have a consumption instead of 9.9w goes to 3w and the temperature falls in parallel if it has 29 degrees in the environment descends to 13, but if it has in series with the same external temperature of 29 degrees there already but it will work well as well as with more consumption and less cooling.

There are several mistakes in this video:
    (1) The box is not fully attached with the cooling part of the module. May be the warmer side can be cooled by it's own module! Really it's an innovative idea!!!
    (2) Power supply 12V 5A = 120 W. I think it need to be recalculated.
    (3) Exhaust Fan fitted in opposite direction. That is why module didn't work. So he heated the thermostat with a lighter to 50+ degrees and waited in an AC room till the temp. went down to 24 degrees and he immediately stopped the video. Good thinking!!!

the room will only get hotter, its like keeping the refrigerator open to cool the room , it will never cool. will only get hotter.

I‘m trying to make a version of this where the hot heat sink is in a big container with cool water inside of it so the coolness is coming from the water and also ice if I put it in there... want to cool down a medium size room with it.. What do y’all think?

    • @ImJuned09
      @ImJuned09 Před 4 lety +2

@@parzival9639 there are soo many things you are doing wrong. Firstly if u have that large amount of cold water. Just use that to cold to cool ur room . Why use the peltier module ?
Second. You can't cool ur room with a peltier module it can't remove such large amounts of heat quickly . The heat entering ur room will always be greater than what ur removing with a peltier module.
Also there is a limit upto which u can increase the temp difference between the two sides of a peltier module after that it fails . U can't keep making the hot side colder to remove heat there is a limit to it.
3.They are highly inefficient . If u are planning to connect multiple number of peltier modules to cool ur room. Just use a air-conditioner. It might be more efficient.

Juned Mohamed thanks for answering! To your first point: I don’t really have a way to cool my room with the water because I don’t want to use evaporative cooling and blowing air onto a hatsink which is connected to the water doesn’t have that much of an effect... To your second point: my room is pretty well isolated, but my question (not retorical) is: If I can’t cool down my room with peltier modules, how can I? Because I’m essentially blowing air from a -5 degree celcius heat sink into my room... I don’t have anything that is colder than that so I would have to use a different technique but I don’t know of any other. To the third point: I want the cool side to be under freezing point, can I sustain that temp for a longer period of time? So effectively my question is: what should I do?

Fun project! However, this wouldn't work at all unless you move the heat collected from the Peltiers to another area isolated from the volume you try to cool down. As shown, this design will only work as a heater, essentially. Another thing I noticed was the direct connection of the hot side with cold side with screws. I would also dare you to make this using no glue at all.

Or he actually heated the sensors beforehand with a lighter... His actual room temperature may actually be only 28ish... He must have done it to show how good his "AC" is... To have brought down temp from 50°ish to 24° in no time lol.. Even real ACs can only dream of doing that... In an uninsulated environment...

Emre S. No problem. Always use a higher ampre power supply for a lower ampere load BUT never a higher voltage.
