Thank you for this comparison. My kid is excellent with one sentence at a time. He breaks down every other Beowulf review that is a large paragraph where you have to circle, put arrows, underline, and double underline. I think it's an over stimulation attention issue. IDK. I prefer critical thinking company, but he may need IEW for a year or two after we finish Beowulf.

I stumbled onto the Editor In Chief books a few months back and after looking into it a bit I had very similar thoughts to you on it. But haven't had it in hand to look at it first hand yet. And it is cheaper to boot, so doubly good. Thanks for a look at it and your thoughts on it. I think that is the one I will go with. Also, don't worry about the hate about previewing a book or curriculum. I think that is ridiculous. Just because you haven't used it yet doesn't mean you can't have thoughts on it. Honestly we all do that when looking through them. I appreciate your thoughts about them and a quick peek inside.

I would definitely want the parent book for fix it. Some of the grammar can be tricky and I definitely need the answer key at times (and I’m pretty strong in my grammar).

We started Fix it Grammar last year, but put a hold on it after starting Beowulf Grammar. Only because Beowulf does a great job explaining everything and has lots of practice built in.
We will be returning to Fix It Grammar so my son can continue practice all that he has learned.
I do think the Teacher's guide is a great resource to have. The lessons in the teacher's guide references the Glossary pages found in the back of the guide. The glossary provides additional information and examples on what is being taught and will be a great reference tool when either of us need a refresher.
I am definitely going to take a look at Editor In Chief. Thank you for sharing it. I'm sure it'll be something we cant live without. 😂
Also, I've been going through recent videos of yours but can't seem to find what Im looking for. I thought you shared a couple of Logics workbooks but after rewatching several videos I can't find them. Was that you, and if so, would you please tell me what those were? If not, Ill have tio figure out who's video it was. 🤦♀️ I should keep notes.

It might not have been you though. Haha I haven't really watched anyone else's homeschool channel recently other than Gina. Maybe it was her. 🤪 🤷♀️
