Some uncalled for comments on here. I have little dogs, some are difficult to groom....... this young lady did marvellous with this cute neglected Yorkie. Well done to the groomer.

You did a great job overall. She looks so much better in the end. Two little tips that may help: 1) Do head the last. By then, they are used to the sound of the clipper snd are also too tired to resist or simply, they may be more trusting, understanding you are helping them. 2) when doing the front paws by lifting them up one at a time too long, they serm to get anxious, possibly scared of losing balance. However, once you allowed her to sit on her hind legs, she did not seem too much bothered when you were shaving the right paw. Best wishes for your continued success...

You should start with the main body as the face is the most confrontational place, they don’t like it! Start from the neck down the body that way she will have called down and desensitised buy the time you come to do the head.
How does anyone let their pet get that bad. Its such a cute little thing.
Offer the dog some water to drink. I think she may be thirty. Your doing a great job of grooming her, she's looking much better. I'm sure she feels better too. Ih my she looks amazing.

Why are you not using the groomers helper to hold the head still and stop her from keeping turning around. Don't know about the dog but I was stressed out watching this video 😢

I think Yorkies hate being groomed, the one i had ( sadly passed ) sulked after being groomed. Great job though was probably feeling so much better afterwards though.

Don’t do the head and face first. And if the dogs stressed, move to a different part of the body. Common sense.
You should groom the dog from the neck to the body first. Start by introducing her with the sound and vibration of the clippers. Not like that!!! Show the love, not pushy… even though take 2 hours grooming, it doesn’t matter. Oh well
I think had someone held the dog as you shaved and bathed, would have been easier for you! Yorkies are so light-weight, they're hard to hold still. You did really well !

Very nice video. Have you ever considered getting like a go pro so you can wear it while filming? Also, filming the bath and second shave down would be a nice addition. The other thing, have you ever shaved from the neck/backwards and leaving the head and front legs for last? Helps with dogs who are afraid of the noise get used to the noise before going near their face
poor dog...such panting //// is she thirsty? or scared? no one talks to her.
Dogs often pant when in a stressful situation. I have groomed my own little Shih Tzu mix for several years. She HATES being groomed and has ever since we rescued her from a puppy mill 10 years ago. I give her multiple breaks during the groom, she has access to water each time. It's rare that she will have a drink.

Ou a t’elle appris son métier,… on commence d ´abord par le dos à la tondeuse puis on fait la tête au ciseaux afin que le chien s’habitue à la tondeuse et soit moins énervé je ne confierai jamais mon chien à cette femme qui n’a pas l’air très douce

if her owners would worked on her she wouild hold still that groomer has her work cut out for her thanks to the owners for not doing their job and now she has to wrestle with her

Oh my god, how can you wait so long before deciding to take your dog to the groomer? The danger that the dog will be visited by insects is probably obvious. You can't get through the fur with a comb or brush. I have a Yorkie myself and haircut it as short as can be seen in the video at the end. Taught myself to do this through CZcams groomer movies. A good hair clipper and other utensils have been purchased and are in use. Such a pet owner should rather buy a stuffed dog that does not require care and attention. Just shameful.

I do not like this groomer. She couldn't control the dog why triming it face. The nails didnt clipped, she didnt shave the pawpads.

You don’t know what you are doing ,the body should have been done first and you should have had the strap around her neck so she wouldn’t move that much,you are not a true groomer
I did watch your video on this Yorkie and it made me cry because I had a yorkie and I cannot understand why anyone would put their little Yorkie is is kind of mess! Shame on you that treated this beautiful baby like this! ANIMAL CRULITY!! I hope you do not get this baby back to you!!
