    Sir as per codes and standards you have to multiply calculated current rating with 1.25 as a safty factor for CB calculation..then you can select available current rating.

    • @abdulwahabsolkar2616
      @abdulwahabsolkar2616 Před 3 lety

      U cant choose CB directly from calculate load current...there are many factor we have to consider as per codes while designing circuit...
      Means if your load current is 447A then 447*1.25=558.75
      After this step you can select CB rating.

    Very nicely made video and crisp information delivered.
    I have a query. What if the load changes during the project execution ? It may reduce or increase. Then what is to be done about the transformer sizing ?
    Such scenario occurs most of the time.

    • @ElectricalInfinity
      @ElectricalInfinity  Před 2 lety +1

      Well the project don't directly go to construction phase. There are different stages like preliminary, tender and construction set. Each stage has 3 to 4 revision. The project will start on site once the construction set is finalised. It takes 3 to 8 months to complete these stages depending on size of project.
      Thanks for appreciation ❤. Keep watching and keep sharing.

    • @amitkhedekar8473
      @amitkhedekar8473 Před 2 lety

      @@ElectricalInfinity Yes, that's true and I am aware about the project life cycle. But there are times when the client comes up with some drastic changes (atleast in India). Then how we can accommodate those changes in the already designed power system or what are the other strategies to adopt ?

    • @ElectricalInfinity
      @ElectricalInfinity  Před rokem +1

      We have to reassess the maximum demand to make sure the load is below total ampere. The client can't make any changes to load without consulting electrical consultant. If the load is above the limit even after diversity factors then the project timeline and cost will increase due to changes in supply capacity, reapplying supply application to supply authority, transformer sizing, cable sizing and main switchboard. The client already know the impact and it is upto him. If he want changes then have to bear the cost.
      We can avoid this situation by allowing 15 to 20% spare amperes for future provisions during a preliminary stage of maximum demand calculations.

    for eg -MDB to SMDB -1 ( floor 1) then from from SMDB 1 to DB 1( flat -1 3bhk ) , SMDB 1 to DB 2 ( 4 BHK ) etc
    According to the load of SMDB & DB Cable Size Has to mention in SLD
