As a bronze, the shield and vulnerable makes no difference. Our duels last so long that the shield runs out before we land a bullet.

@@pianissimo7121 iron is just hopeless to be honest cuz its easy to climb from there and then get stuck in bronze and silver whereas when you place into bronze or silver it is easier to climb out of that rank (in my experience)
@@aryanbhattacharya4238 fair. I was placed in iron my 1st time playing and for good reason. Now I get placed in b2 or b3 without any effort. Silver is still beyond me though
I know Iso got nerfed, but this game showcases his new buffed kit really well. And it all still applies! He's finally a good agent. What do you guys think?
His shield confidence buff definitely helped my confidence.
I think icebox as a run it down map is able to show its strength best. The biggest issue with iso in traditional pro play is that his best ability also tells every enemy exactly where he is.
I feel liked he got barely buffed after the changes.
I feel like giving gekkos dizzy the ability to break his shield is a good counter for iso. Most flashes don’t touch the enemies, but dizzy basically goes through isos shield to flash him which doesn’t really make sense.
I think people need to learn how to play around him then it wil be easy
Small anti iso ult tip: when the barriers are still up, quidkly peek and shoot his body (easier to hit than the head) to break his shield, and you'll still have a few seconds before the barrier dissapears.
you should add using the burst of classic to really give you more chance to destroy the shield

counter tip for this if your iso: Pull out your knife when u ult they wont be able to peak you early

I'm confused why they got rid of the 2 kill reset when they could have just got rid of the orb refresh and kept the 2 kill reset. Having a instant refresh just makes it almost impossible to trade if Iso is pushing with his team.

Bro EXACTLY, I started using stinger and it is ridiculously overpowered. Even if you aim at body, the recoil makes sure you headshot which if against an iso, essentially means you break his shield, get a body shoot, then recoil gives you 2 headshots. Thats enough to kill someone full shields btw

He fundamentally breaks the economy of the game. In my opinion he will always be over tuned as long as he is able to insta activate a shield and negate operator investments.
Just make it so he can’t shield before getting a kill to move the agency away from the player with the advantage. Then he requires a thoughtful fight with a different enemy or 50/50 aim check with the awp player to push past.
@@flytelp For real. It'd actually be dope if they made his shield work the same as before- but make it the same as Reyna where the ability is just up the entire round, and you only use it when you get a kill. Honestly don't know why it wasn't like that in the first place

I think even after the nerfs Iso is a tad too strong. Having a 7 point ult means you can get 85/15 fights every 3-4 rounds and then STILL retain shield and that's just NOT fun to play against.

You forgot about the most broken part of ISOs ability. You literally can’t counter it. Almost every agent in the game gives you a warning when they use their ability, and even the ones who don’t, give you time to avoid the ability, like breach for example. But with iso, by the time he yells his voice line, you’ve already been pulled into his ult, giving you zero chance to avoid it.
You have like a sec at most to dodge if you have a movement agent. However to the non movement agents your pretty much screwed.
Nevermind I thought about it you can't escape the ult.
But Iso still has to fight unlike other ults.

I had a game where I had 11 first bloods, 2 quadras, and an ace the first week buffed Iso dropped. The confidence that the shield gives you is insane.

I think this buff shows how a little more time can turn a 1kill into 3 4 kills. If you think about it with the shields he just has an extra bullet or extra 0.2 seconds to play but that tiny window is enough to convert a single or no kills into multiple kills. I think that ISO is balanced rn with this patch for pro play because you can counter him, but i think he is still a menace for ranked people.
(And im still waiting the day someone will send yoru clone further to cancel out ISO ult)

just buy a short every round and shoot ur bullets through the smokes, even if 1 bullet hits him it will break the shield, always works for me in my ranked games

Teets idk how complicated it would be for this game but what if the duel iso creates just makes a big circle on the ground to show where they both are and they still go to the arena leaving the duel ring on the ground. But the thing would be, if either team could see the other dueling players water footsteps they can call it out. They also should make the duel arena more filled with angles

The new meta that riot is making is actually just annoying. Fully accurate neon slides, and an agent that just says no to a headshot.
fully accurate neon slides dont really matter that much cause of how fast you go its way too hard to realistically hit shots with anything that isnt a shotgun or a stinger.... which already worked just fine without the fully accurate slides lol.
unless youre sliding forward that is, in which case it could matter but sliding forward also negates alot of why the slide lets you entry well in the first place by making it a much easier shot for the defending player.
much bigger change for neon is defo the stun, it pops so fast lol thank god they made it only one of them.

All they have to do is make his shield last a bit shorter, he can’t have it in his ult and the shield above his neck reduces the damage taken instead of blocks it making headshots still do damage

It did miss. Jett took 0 damage. Had it hit for full or close to full damage, Jett would've died.

Neon buff was super good and is actually fun, the iso buff just seems like an over correction to force him into the meta and just doesn't feel right and imo is way too good, the shield should be kill activated like it used to
