      yeah I feel em on not wanting to put em up against each other. Its cool to do that in private in the barber shop or whatever but not when you're Salaam Remi on a press run lol. If I was in preproduction I would have been like "you sure he's gonna wanna do that?" lol

    I get what Salaam is saying. On one hand he's right: all great producers are great. Can't really compare them like that. But on the same token, it's just for fun. And you can sorta compare who has more bangers. Neptunes got more hip hop bangers than Large Pro. Large Pro is of course that dude, though. And props for Salaam putting him in perspective.

    The Neptunes and Timbaland are the best producers of all time. I'd put Dr.Dre 3rd. Yes I know Dre did it in so many different eras, but no one messing with Timbo and the Neptunes

    • @tochiRTA
      @tochiRTA Před 5 lety

      I agree but he won't keep it real. Too industry. For example - I'm a hip hop fanatic. and I absolutely love Large Pro AND the Neptunes. But if we keep it all the way real, Neptunes got more bangers overall. I'm not saying one style is better than another. I'm simply saying that if you make a numbered list of great Neptunes beats, and great Large Pro beats, Neptunes will have more great beats. They have more standouts.
