I love your videos so much. I'm glad you talked about face shape and protrusion. I struggle with choosing lip products because my lips are thin and I have a very flat face (actually my chin protrudes farther than my lips). I have been thinking about trying the Romand lip products for a while, I think I will finally pick one up!

i'm an asian girl who has a similar skintone to you, but most asian make-up tutorials and channels i watched before yours usually had girls with very pale and white skintones. i would try to follow what they did, but obviously it ended up looking very ashy and gross on me.
all this is to say that i always appreciate you taking into consideration the diverse amount of features, skintones, and facial traits people can have. rather than forcing something into one strict box, you suggest a lot of ways that something might work! so thank you ♡♡.

But...she didn't tho. She didn't explain how to find your undertone, it's hard to compare it when you don't really know what to look for and for the foundation tip:a lot of foundations nowadays adapt to your skintone, so...
As a neutral skin undertone i always getting confuse with the color i use. So i obviously use the color i often use. But i always want to explore more. It has a lot difficulties sometimes, but then i knew that my skin is better wear a warm-light color or dark-cool color.

I have the same lip product from Romand and the same 05 shade, it's one of my favorites. Romand is my fave K beauty brand and I find that a lot of their lip colors work for my skin tone. I have an olive undertone as well ❤️. BTW, I am currently in love with your content. ❤️ You're amazing Haley!

@@Xsksnssjccxghb I am having a hard time deciding between the two colors too. #6 Kaya fig is such a pretty color and works for a lot of skin tones but I think #5 looks best on warm to neutral olive undertones. You can never go wrong with that shade. But if I were you I would buy both shades 🙂.

usually i would just wear lip balm because I'm not good at choosing lipstick shade. if it's too purple/wine shade, it'll enhance my dark circles and my dark circles would look purple (zombie) and if i choose pink/peach my undereye would appear red :/

I thought i had a cool undertone bcoz ppl are saying i am light, so i started using cool tone colors but it doesn't look flattering me, then I realized I have olive skin tone.

haley, correct me if im wrong but i do think theres a mistake in the recommendation of lip products as it appears to be the same for neutral undertone and olive undertone
I’ve neutral undertones but why i feel like color lips/cushion for neutral it doesn’t fit on me 🥲 but if i took a product for cool tone, it’s not that pinkish to my skin but just to bright. if i use for warm tone, i feel like it’s too yellowish and sometimes makes my skin grey…. what should i do 😭

A neutral to coldish olive toned! N all lipsticks with blue hues like shocking pink with blue tones,plum, purple even red with blue tones than orange or tangerine or warm shades look better on me muted lips make me just grey or washed away!

I am also a olive girl but with golden touch. And it's very difficult for me to find my lipshade. Cuz I live in a tropical area and due to sun exposure my skin color change and lipsticks which I brought earlier doesn't suit me anymore. It's a difficult task for me to find any makeup products of my shade and a lot of money is wasted. I am just tired of all these. 😢😢😢😢😢😢

I have warm undertone, i am fair to medium shade ...i am confused, which shade suites me..and find that dark red shades suits me
And have no idea to choose the best shade for my lipstick 😢in case if mars and Maybelline and insight ...my favourite brand which stays long ...i don't like nude red and too dark shades ..but i love a kind of red with maroon shade😊.. for example in , insight i brought nude twist but need more darker shade than nude twist and brought divine wine shade but disappointed its too dark..
Being south Asian I have dark pigmented lips , I generally wear nudes and berry colors but the one thing I generally for perfect nude shade match it with inside of my lip. 😅
What about people with skin that has more melanin, especially South Asian skin and sharp features. Darker colour fabrics can bring out the purple green tones and make the face look sallow and paler pastel fabrics even the skin tone out. No idea which lip colour to choose
SA too with muted Neutral brown skin and It took me quite some time to understand that one lip colour won't work. Our lips naturally have two tones and a natural lip line ( if dark skinned) .Any colour would work but make sure to Make your features work for you , not Makeup. For me , Mauvy colours with a hint of Peachy and Blush colours look best.
If you want to wear Red lipstick, then applying little highlighter instead of Gloss would work best.

My skin tone is pretty confusing. I have very pale skin with an olive (but warmish) undertone. The shades that look best on me are bright orange-coral or orange-red.
Olive tones can be either more warmer or cooler! Also what makeup works for you can change depending on what season/how tan you are! Olives tan easily but also can be very pale during certain periods of times for ex: winter

When I put pink toned lipstick it looks red on me idk why. To what nude pink I wear it looks peach in me
I am very fair skinned but with a neutral undertone. Here in the USA often lighter skintones are assumed to have cool undertones and have pink to them which makes my skin look too red and flushed. I switched to using Korean BB creams that come in neutral tones and it's a total game changer! I am so spoiled I don't even look at Western foundations anymore, although their shades have improved over the years to include a wider variety of undertones. Now if I could just find a good cool toned contour! They DO NOT exist here in the USA I swear! Everything looks like dirt on my skin because it's more like a bronzer. I started just using eyeshadows in the cool brown shade I want cause it's so hard to find a contour that isn't a warm brown.

I actually don't recommend glossy lip products to people with thinner lips who are muted tones! My mouth is small and I have average lips and a gloss actually makes my lips look slimmer and draws too much attention to them against my muted skin tone.
Dang ! You just described me there 😆 .I also have thin lips and muted dark skin.
About lips it all depends on the lips shape and natural lip line. Applying gloss all over would def bring attention. But instead Use a highlighter to "lift" the cupids bow and highlight the bottom lips by applying in the centre. Using more than one lip shade also helps to highlight if not using Gloss.
